(at around 13 mins) After Kimberly has her first premonition (the highway), she parks her SUV across the on-ramp to block it. Yet, when her SUV gets hit by the truck, it has moved to being parked pointing onto the highway, and quite a ways out into traffic to have been hit so squarely by a passing truck.
(at around 30 secs) The newscaster announces that Mt. Abraham High lost 40 students and 4 teachers in the plane crash in Final Destination (2000). 40 students and 4 teachers boarded the plane, but 6 students and 1 teacher were removed, meaning that 34 students and three teachers died on the plane.
(at around 26 mins) When Officer Burke is looking at the pictures taken of the dead survivors of flight 180, Tod, in the bath, has his hands to the wire round his neck as if he died whilst trying to pull on it to get free. However, in "Final Destination", as he dies, his hands eventually rest by his side, nowhere near his neck.
(at around 14 mins) When Officer Burke approaches Kimberly's truck after her premonition, the camera shows a concrete barrier directly out her window, protecting her truck nearly to the front. Moments later, when the semi smashes into her truck, it hits nearly in the middle. The semi would have had to drive through the barriers to do this.
During the premonition on the highway, the road switches between being dry and wet between shots.
When Eugene is in the hospital, he is on a ventilator. With a vent, the tube that goes into the lungs completely blocks your airway. When he see the cart rolling, he starts hyperventilating and you can clearly hear him breathing through his nose. This would not be possible on a ventilator because the airway is blocked so the vent can get air directly into the lungs.
(at around 1h 23 mins) Although it can be an understandable desire of the actress, when Kimberly is being defibrillated, you can see she is wearing a bra. During emergency procedures all clothes are cut off the patient.
The barbed wire fence would not have enough surface area to catch enough force from the explosion to be launched through the air in such a way.
(at around 30 secs) During the opening montage, the news reporter says that Flight 180 crashed. The plane actually exploded.
Pure oxygen is not a fuel, only an accelerant for existing fire. The tanks in the hospital after the baby was born would not have exploded.
At the end of Final Destination (2000), Alex had just been saved, so Clear was next. But after that, someone could have saved Clear so that it skipped her again, and then Alex died after that. Since Clear says she and Alex cheated death dozens of times, it must have even jumped back and forth between them several more times.
In Kimberly's premonition, everyone drives down the highway before the accident happens, yet in real life the accident happens right at the spot where they got on the highway. In the original premonition, all of the survivors in the film die in the pile up and because they don't die they upset deaths plan. When Kimberly gets out of her car, she
also messed with deaths plan, so it's possible death changed the plan, to prove to Kimberly that death can't be stopped and to prove to survivors that they will all die. It's implied throughout the series that death is a thinking entity and as they say it in the film, it has a plan.
New York State Police wear tan hats, not gray as in the film.
New York State Police wear blue discs on their collar with troop letter on it, not the letters "SP" as in the film.
(at around 5 mins) Before the premonition the talk radio show is on 104.9Mhz, after the premonition (at around 12 mins) when she changes the radio stations, the same talk show is on 98.9Mhz.
When Eugene falls off his motorcycle and hits the log, a crash pad can be seen in front of him.
(at around 7 mins) In various shots of the tractor-trailer, it has a fuel tank mounted to the bottom side. Tractor-trailers do not have fuel tanks, as they have no need for them.
During the police interrogation scene, Evan Lewis is kept separate from the rest of the group. Later, when his death is reported by the news, all of the survivors are intrigued by the report. However, none of them, excluding Kimberly, would have known who Evan was and would not have been affected by the knowledge of his death.
When Officer Burke searched the website for information on the Flight 180 survivors, he opens the picture of Tod Waggner hanging in the bathtub, with his hands at his neck (his hands fell down to the side upon his death) and his eyes looking forward to the right (instead of looking down to the left) and white without the petechial hemorrhaging.
Before Tim is killed by the falling glass he almost is killed by Nitrous Oxide and a fish toy, but is saved by the Dentist, but from the rules of death set in Final Destination 1 if a survivor has there live saved then death skips them a go's to the next survive which would have Nora.
Isabella's "newborn" is obviously much too large to be a newborn.
The songs that plays in Evan's car during the highway scene, "Middle of Nowhere" by The Blank Theory was released in 2002, while the movie explicitly states that is takes place only one year after Final Destination (2000).
(at around 39 mins) The camera is visible going across the aquarium in the dentist's office.
(at around 10 mins) When the coffee cup spills onto Thomas' lap, the vibrator motor attached to the bottom of the cup to make the liquid jiggle can be clearly seen.
(at around 10 mins) During the crash the pneumatic rams that were used to flip the vehicles over are seen.
(at around 10 mins) When Eugene Dix is pinned against the log by his own bike the wire that flops the dummy's hand up is visible.
The metered ramp indicates the road where the pileup occurs is U.S. Route 23, a north/south highway that does not come near New York state, when the scene clearly takes place in New York.
(at around 41 mins) When Tim is in the dentist's office, the oxygen tank on the anesthesia machine has a white label. While this is the correct label color in Canada (where this was filmed), in the United States (the film is set in New York), all compressed gas tanks containing oxygen have a green label (or the entire tank is painted green).
(at around 1h 13 mins) When Kimberly is driving the Farmer's pickup and talking about the hospital, they clearly pass by a Canada Post mail truck on their right. The film is set in New York State.
There are two mountains, in the real Greenwood Lake, but nothing like the mountainous terrain in Canada where the film was shot. The lake is nine miles in length, one mile wide, and stretches across state lines into New Jersey.
The school bus in the film is a Canadian one, as it has a black hood. American ones have yellow hoods.
When Kimberly and the other survivors were being questioned by Burke, Isabella would have also been questioned because she was on the Route 23 on-ramp.
(at around 1h) When Eugene fails to shoot himself, Clear says it wasn't his time to die. However, when Kimberly realizes she needs to drown herself, this would have had one of two outcomes: If it was her turn to die, Death would have just continued onto the next in line after her. However, If it wasn't her turn to die, Death wouldn't have allowed it, and she either wouldn't have been able to start the van or, after drowning herself, would have died later on in the hospital, as Eugene did.
Around 1h when they are in the car, and Eugene starts off with "not the first time I cheated death". Problem with Eugene's story is that, if Valerie Lewton had died in the plane crash in the beginning of FD1, she would still have need to be replaced at school. I mean if everyone had died in that plane crash, for one - the bus wouldn't have hit Terry and Kat would have made it to that cheesy B&B and been gassed to death. For Eugene to die at his school, by that stabbing he talks about, Valerie Lewton would have had to be alive, and she dies, either in the plane crash or the Hus blowup/stab. Yes the school could have pick someone else than Eugene, if Val had died earlier, but then the bus could have hit someone else. I guess the point is Valerie L. needs to be alive, for Eugene to die in the stabbing, and death wants Valerie L. dead.
In Final Destination, Alex dies at the end of the movie but he is resuscitated. In Final Destination 2, the way to stop death is to bring new life into the design. Kimberly dies and is brought back to life, thus defeating death.
But Alex died in the first movie and was brought back to life. But death still stalked him and Clear. So Clear, Alex and Carter should have lived.

Nora is decapitated by the elevator doors and the elevator going up. Earlier someone else got his leg caught in the elevator doors. This can NOT happen. Elevators have devices to prevent injuries by closing doors. Most elevators have breaks. An elevator break sticks out further than the edge of the door. This means that if something is in between the doors, those breaks will contact the object before the actual edge of the doors. As the doors close, those breaks will stop before the doors. When that happens, the elevator doors stop closing and reopens. Other elevator doors have electric eyes. If the beam of an electric eye is broken, the doors stop closing and open again. These breaks are designed to prevent just what happened in Final Destination 2, and accordingly lawsuits against elevator companies (and the inevitability of their having to declare bankruptcy).
Fluffy mic seen in window of people carrier which crashes into the hay stack.
(at around 1h 9 mins) When the caravan almost runs over Brian, a mic is visible in the reflection of the windows on the caravan as he is being pulled to safety.
(at around 31 mins) If Clear was extremely worried about her safety, (such as making the nurse collect anything possibly dangerous from visitors) then she wouldn't have a television monitor in her room, as it might explode.
(at around 1h 14 mins) After the airbag deploys, the girl gets impaled by the PVC pipe. When the news is reporting the accident on the radio, the woman says her head was impaled with a metal pipe. It was a PVC pipe.
(at around 5 mins) In Kimberly's premonition, the woman shakes a bag containing cans; this makes the cans fall out. (at around 12 mins) After Kimberly's premonition, the woman holds the bag and the cans fall out.
Clear mentions that she, Alex and the other survivors of Volée Flight 180 were friends. However, Clear only really bonded with Alex and she never considered the others her friends during the first movie.
When Isabella is yelling at Steve Adams to take her the hospital he refers to himself as "Officer Adams" but when he's reporting the SUV crash he refers to himself as "Deputy Adams".
