When I was younger I used to love this series and had no idea that it was based on a theatrically released movie. I sat down to watch the movie and had a mixed expirience. It was OK, but had too much low brow jokes and an unlikable "host". No wonder it bombed hard in theaters, but then came this much better series.

It pretty much continues where the movie ended when Osmosis and Drix gets transferred to the teenage boy Hector (thank god they did that) and starts all over as detectives.

The series is much more clever and introduces more likable newcomers. The mayor is still a mean youngster, but hey, it's a teenage body so why not have a self-absorbed teenager as its mayor? The police officers are skeptical about the duo's abilities, but they mostly get along.

The new voice actors for our main characters do excellent jobs at imitating the originals which I very much appreciate. And the villainous characters have a lot to offer among others the wonderful Tim Curry being there not one but two times in the first episode and in one about smoking.

The humor can still be juvenile at times, but it never comes out of nowhere or without its purpose and it still has an educational side to it. It can be preachy at times, but that happens little enough not to make a wrong impression.

I think it could have lasted longer, but I guess it's a thing at WB to cancel many of their good tv-shows. I enjoyed Ozzy & Drix and recommend the episodes "Where There's Smoke" and the double "An Out of Body Expirience" for some god performances and good humour.

I am aware that the movie Osmosis Jones does have a fairly bad rap, but when I saw it I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. This spin-off show Ozzy and Drix actually surpasses it I think. The concept is still fresh, clever and original, and I really liked how smart and entertaining it was. Yes, some of the humour is crude and there are one or predictable moments at times. However, the animation does have its uniqueness with nice backgrounds and the characters look interesting, and the music is good, even the theme song was tolerable and admittedly I don't like that style of music. The characters are likable and unique, Drix is my favourite, he's funny and cute if somewhat silly on occasions. I also like Ozzy because he is cool and smart, and the supporting characters are quirky too. The voice acting is also top notch. Overall, clever, original and smart spin-off show that in my opinion is better than the film. 9/10 Bethany Cox

I used to love watching mind-numbing cartoons when I was a kid. Now, at the ripe old age of 25 I thought I had grown up a bit...apparently not. Studying medicine is draining and I needed something in the evening to relax to, so I decided to re-watch a number of cartoons from my youth. I found all the episodes for Ozzy and Drix and was so full of nostalgia that I could not resist myself.

Ozzy and Drix takes place in the city of Hector, a teenage human being who literally sets the stage for this show. Ozzy (aka Osmosis Jones) is a white blood cell with an attitude like Will Smith in Bad Boys, whilst Drix (aka Drixenol) is a multi-faceted pill who is also somewhat nerdy. This pair are part of a policing unit in the city of Hector, who are committed to fight invading pathogens. Both have their individual charm and comedic value, which makes their pairing a great one.

Despite wanting to watch this show for its ability to let me go on autopilot at the end of a long day, quite the opposite occurred. The episodes themselves are are incredibly clever as they use medical language (in a very basic sense) to form the basis of each storyline. For example, representing the spleen as a literal vacuum destroyer of pathogens was a stroke of genius to enable children to understand its function. Other clever aspects would have flew over my head as a kid, but they do make me chuckle now that I am studying medicine. Having a dog allergen being called 'dander' being one such case.

In a world full of cartoons that rely on stupidity to be 'funny', Ozzy and Drix do not and I really respect that. Aside from comedy, some episodes have a truly strong message. "Where's the smoke" is a prime example of this, whereby the basic concept of smoking and its consequences is explained brilliantly. It is these qualities that sets this show apart from most cartoons. However, by the same token, it may have been its downfall. It was too clever for its own good and kids quite simply did not get it. In a sea of cartoons where comedy that relies on stupidity, current trends and violence reign supreme, Ozzy and Drix could not complete.

All in all, Ozzy and Drix was a great show (let alone a cartoon). It's a shame it did not continue , because I truly believe this cartoon would have entertained children as well as benefited their minds.

In the beginning, there was Freakazoid on the WB Saturday Moring lineup. Then it got cancelled. Then there was Animaniacs. Then it got cancelled. Then there was Pinky and the Brain. And it got cancelled. Then came the last gasp of intelligent TV for WB kids, and it was called 'Ozzie and Drix'.

Like Freakazoid, Animaniacs, and Pinky and the Brain before it, it was a funny and witty show that didn't strike a chord with America's idiot children. It was stocked with educational and funny moments too smart for kids. Just one example: They're on the highway on a car chase, and one of the billboards says 'Peace in the middle ear'.

It was a solid show, taught the kids to stay away from drugs,a nd gave a solid hoot without going out of its way. I'd kill to have this show back.

This show was 10 times more better than the movie, this show was actually a success unlike the movie. The movie was so unsuccessful that Ozzy & Drix was created to make the series look more better, and they succeeded. I don't understand why the movie was unsuccessful but yet it went to DVD and VHS but the show did not and it was totally more better than the movie. I think this show should be brought out of Warner Bros storage and onto Warner Bros DVD, this show deserves to be put on DVD after the successful rating it was given. I love Ozzy and Drix just as much as I love the movie! But I noticed people saying the smoking episode was "scary" because of Nick O'Teen. I agree with that. I honestly think that if this show was to come out today, it would probably be on The CW. I would think a reboot to the show would be a departure from its edutainment factor and light, "kiddie" tone, only for it to secure more mature material and themes, a darker, "gothic" tone, and incorporate more high school and college-related tropes (speaking of which, the show ITSELF would be a teen drama). The soundtrack would be mostly pre-existing pop-punk songs from the likes of My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Evanescence, Avril Lavigne, Pierce The Veil, Linkin Park, Green Day, Paramore, etc. I mean, Ozzy would've been full-on Daria Morgendorffer. Characters would've been in college (18-22). They would've made a lot of references to pop culture. I really do think that a reboot to the series would be very reminiscent of movies and TV shows like Scream, Daria, Twilight, Jennifer's Body, Ruby Gloom, Vampire Diaries, etc. That is EXACTLY what I would think a Ozzy and Drix reboot would be like.

I haven't seen Ozzy & Drix much when I was little when I saw it on Kids' WB and it reran on Cartoon Network, and I also wish they didn't cancel the show. Speaking of that, why was it cancelled?

The new Kids WB show, Ozzie + Drix, is just like the movie Osmosis Jones which this show is based on. In the beginning, the title stars are inside Frank (Bill Murray's character from the film) but are transported to the body of a thirteen year old named Hector via a mosquito. In this new body, the duo now protects it just they did for Frank. Ozzie + Drix has very similar animation and voices from the movie. All I know is that I now watch Saturday Morning cartoons again.

Why?! Why did someone make a TV series out something as bad as Osmosis Jones? I'll tell you why because they think the majority of TV watchers will swallow anything. I haven't felt this nauseous since I learned about "Smallville". It's enough to make a person chuck his TV out the window and become a recluse.
