The team looks into the caterer, the photographers Mike and Sophie Brunner, who has access to him and chocolates while she had an affair with Jens, his surprisingly unhealthy, yet boosted finances, and even his manager, Hansens' 10 years ago Hamburg fiancee Esther Wilke. Meanwhile free tickets for a visiting London director's (not so) classical concert stir the Rosenheim cops' social life.

Local youngster Hans Plattner's corpse is found by a jogger in a pool, drowned, at first sight accidentally but he was dragged there after a fall that left him merely unconscious. He was partaking in a local brewery's treasure search, and brilliantly wrote short stories. His home is broken into, searching for cash. His arrogance tumultuous love-life provide additional suspects on top of actually two competitions. Meanwhile handsome Andreas Lorenz makes a painfully spectacular, yet charming entrance, only his stickler predecessor works him in most unpleasantly.

Local supermarket detective Otto Beck is found, fatally hit. Hansen's team checks out the staff, which he was secretly spying on by video camera, elaborating on a secret order by the manager, and thus found out about a secret affair between a couple he blackmailed. Max also finds a pile of suitcases from various owners in Beck's home.

Wolfgang Goetz's firm's chief aerodynamic designer Florian Riedinger dies from a fall while flying a para-glider he developed with Holger Weigel, which was sabotaged by line cutting in the workshop. The designers were secretly planning to leave and set up a rival company. Florian also had an affair with Jesscia, the wife of local prime customer Tobias Hanisch. Meanwhile Andi failed to follow procedure to take a day off due to perfect surfing weather, just now HQ stickler Felix Seitz drops unannounced for 'suggestions' about his accounting.

Peter Albert is presumably found murdered in the conference room where he was to conclude a major real estate deal with the main investor for a Hamburg bank. The widow however isn't one: his identity was stolen by incorrigible crook and womanizer Martin Liebig, picked up at the station by newly employed secretary Christiane Haeberlein. Hansen and Hofer find Liebig had a romantic date with adulteress Danielle Prager, which husband Helmut Prager discovered. After a comedy of office moving-induced errors, new precinct accountant Andy Lorenz discovers anomaly clues in the deal paperwork.

Just before the local beer queen pageant, finalist Natalie Prast, a gossip columnist, is found skull smashed, with illegal drugs but clean. Prime suspects are the most fanatical rival, and the organizers, a former drug trade convict and local brewer Martin Kerscher, possible motives include blackmail. 'Fake' culture attache Rupert Wagner meanwhile dates the competitor from the administrative precinct staff.

Julius Dallinger is found dead, apparently from a bike fall in the forest, in fact staged and sabotaged. He was visiting his home town, where hired, over-paid manager Gustl runs his family's furniture company, while he makes a living in the US downhill mountain-biking circuit. The cops team considers possible motives and suspects related to the furniture inheritance, fraud, competitive rivalry, infidelity and the victim's Californian wife.

Local trucker Mark Fuchs's corpse is found by foresters, behind the wheel in the forest, skull smashed, a failed staged accident due to an empty fuel tank. The shipping company's owner, with criminal record, and his son Thomas, now manager, pretend he returned empty from a car parts delivery to Italy. Widow Fuchs hides her recent affair, a forester his part in a long-term contraband plot. Meanwhile junior Andreas 'Andi' Lorenz's creative accounting saves the boss's beloved music academy from a tax office stickler.

Rich, semi-retired divorce lawyer Reiter's skull-smashed corpse is found at home by detached wife and heiress Elisabeth, whose own business is in trouble. His current client Ulrich Stegmüller was furious about an unfavorable court ruling they were appealing against, but it has twists for and involving his ex-to-be Sonja. Meanwhile publican Jo unwittingly sets up incumbent Sven against newcomer Anton, who both want the same boathouse.

Hansen worries less then the office about Korbinian (in a police seminar) being replaced by a Regensburg female interim, commissioner Verena Danner, who stays with her forensic college mate Dr. Sabine Eckstein. Biathlete Moritz Aschauer was fatally shot on the golf course of a Rosenheim club which was hosting a tournament. His buddy, Christian Bachhuber, points at championship rival Benedikt Reindl. Club physiotherapist Brigitte Schropp deals in doping, which she was blackmailed about. Aschauer had an affair with Bachhuber's girlfriend.

Rosenheim's leading chocolaterie "Praliné" owner Ralf Zauner was skull-smashed in it. Fiancée Marianne Barisch acts stunned. His talented employee Martin Richter created and produced every candy type, Zauner took credits and profits. Zauner's competitor Alois Krantz hated him for buying over Martin Richter and planning to buy and expand Krantz's rented premises. Hansen solves the case with Danner, whose planned short interim keeps being prolonged, even ministry controller Felix Seitz is on her HR case.

Local horticultural jury chairman president Paul Hieber's corpse is found in the prize dahlia border of Xaver Lippig, for years the bitter rival of neighbor Simon Mörtlbauer. The murder weapon is an expensive spade. In Hansen's absence, predecessor Tobias Hartl takes charge again. The competition provides possible motives, but also personal circumstances.

Animal conservationist Stefan Schönewald is killed in a wild river, due to his sabotaged kayak paddle, while observing beavers. Tobias Hartl and Danner look into the neighboring fruit growers, whose harvests are threatened by beaver lakes, notable Sepp Langenbach; Stefan's heiress girlfriend Giselle Marquard, whose father payed their bills, and environment official Julia Ried, who was his ex and ally in beaver conservation, and discover some surprising reports between he above, yielding potential motives.

Dirndl-designer Zenzi Schlickenrieder is fatally stabbed in her (work)shop shortly before a major fashion show. Hartl must investigate with still-stuck Danner. Prime suspects are life partner Ursel Jung, who may have found out about Zenzi's secret affair with popular model Barbara Sandner and Barbara herself, who wanted to break up but was threatened with publication of intimate pictures. Ex-con assistant designer Leonardo Ganzoli could no longer hide his criminal record.

Commissioner Sebastian König reports for duty in Rosenheim. As he's late, like Hofer, and Hansen absent, chief Achziger takes charge of the murder of housekeeper Inge Müller, who was dumped in a corn field, skull smashed. She regularly threatened fowl breeder Max Moosburger as animal rights activist and had an affair with Theo Behrens, whose wife found out and stole his key to Müller's home. Her employer Dietlinde Fricke behaves odd in too many minor ways for Sebastian's fine nose for details. Meanwhile his conservatory girl friend, fellow cellist Agnes Lüders, postulates at Rosenheim academy, believing he's the director, so he digs in her past.

Michael Reitmayr fell to his death in aristocrat Philipp von Preitz's swimming pool, which he often used with permission, notably during 'free running', which sir managed and sponsored, against wife Stephanie's taste and financial interest. Exceptionally it had been pumped empty, which could be a murder MO. Gardner Rudi Gerber is the only one known to have the key to the automatic pool control system, which was set by timer. One motive has Hans Hirschberger, who now has no major rival for the well-endowed Australian open tournament. Mike's PC shows evidence he blackmailed a closet-gay.

Rosenheim's last artisan cask maker Siegbert Strobel's corpse is found skull-smashed in his own firm grounds. The greedy recent heiress of his main client brewery, Nina Dörflinger, lies about plans to switch to steel casks. The adulterous widow Jasmin piles up her own lies. Sebastian promises just-returned Stadler a dinner, but his Agnes, who hates rich Bavarian cuisine, books a vegetarian shanty.

Concert violinist Edward Kellenberger is murdered by car, but his corpse left in his own car. That night, at the closing event for Rosenheim Academy's string music masterclass, he made a scene with detective Sebastian König, who has an alibi, unlike his lover cellist Agnes Lüders, whom Edward flirted with. Prime suspect Benedikt Voglbaur, lost his fiancee Josepha to womanizer Kellenberger . Rival violinist Katharina Weindl benefits as next in line to join a prestigious orchestra.

Max Brügl, co-owner of the local climbing course, is shot twice on it. Brother Anton opposed his intent to sell the heirloom land. Max also had an affair with his brother's lover, Sofia Ruppert, which Anton and the widow-heiress knew about. Meanwhile the precinct staff wrongly assumes a dinner booking is for them, rather then chief Duda's music academy.

In local amateur theater "Alte Scheune", cardiologist Rhein's wife Manuela was fatally stabbed in wardrobe. The company was a cesspit of rivalry and infidelity, recent newcomer Manuela having got the lead at Joseph Hübner's wife Dagmar's expense, once her rival for the doc. The director also had an affair.

Miki's auxiliary fire fighters bowling team lost. He technically becomes a suspect when Ambros, member of the visiting adversary team, is murdered in the hosting inn during late practice after his victory. Sven and Korbinian focus on papers the victim suspiciously carried with him concerning bank credit for a construction project, tracing to members of both teams employed by contractor or bank. The web includes adultery blackmail.

Hairdresser Anna Winkler was fatally stabbed into the heart in her barber shop with scissors, not found there. She was found by passing-by competitor Brigitte Hunzinger, who can't pay her rent any more. Winkler had extensive debt but only with interior decorator Olaf Fohrmann, whose wife does the books. Anna's recent ex after two years Patrick Gerstenberg was seen around and made dodgy deliveries.

Small hotel group "Scheuer" owner Antonia Scheuer's skull was fatally smashed in the Rosenheim hotel. Suspects include her estranged, bought-out, recently returned sister Kerstin and the widower Bernd Scheuer, who had an affair with Antonia. Night watchman Alfred Wiesinger hides his own fraudulent 'side business'. Meanwhile the precinct gang speculates how Stadler can be so happy about the Caribbean cruise he dreaded.

Chief Achtziger and Marie find Academy-connected composer Russer murdered at home. Commissioners Sven Hansen and Anton Stadler consider the open terrace door suggest he may have surprised a panicking robber, or that's staged. They must also considered his many frustrated private Rosenheimer music school pupils, their parents, even colleagues such as sanctimonious Siegfried Kurz. Russers cleaner Elisabeth Ott may have stolen valuable instruments, her other employer, neighbor architect Karl-Heinz Friedrich was blackmailed out of complaining about incessant noise. Finally there's the matter of Russer's collected compositions. Andi inspires Stockl to get a fitness bracelet.

Childless widow Irmtraud Meier is found strangled in the pet cemetery where she buried her two previous doted pooches. Nephew Ludwig Praschl, her sole kin, with gambling debts, is the main heir. Cemetary boss Karl Dellinger however gets a 50,000 Euros legate, and he often cheated clients with cheap tomb materials and such. Cleaner Marlies Siemsen was accused of stealing vases from the Meier home. A valuable dog collar proves key evidence.

Murdered employer Melanie was found drowned, after skull-smashing by hammer in the bathtub, by maid Anisa Papic, who was drugged to avoid recognition. It's new, presumptuous pathologist (not doctor) Sandra Mai's first case, but already she and Sven are overcautious about each-other, amusing Achziger, while even charming Andy finds her aloof. The fresh widower found Melanie frigid and suspected the hypochondriac of an affair with their GP, a divorce would clean him out.

Twofold lottery millionaire Huber was skull-smashed in his villa, where a small fortune is robbed in gold and watches. Commissioner Hansen Fresh widow Sybille Huber pawned the latter, being granted almost no spending money and having no claim in case of divorce, now inheriting all. Patrrime gardener Klaus Berger claims to have seen a man sneak out, hiding he's an ex-con robber. Art professor Udo Wilhelm is delighted with the end of his neighbor, who was allowed by court to destroy a centuries old oak on the divide. A winning lottery number proves a key clue. Controller Andi Lorenz gets an intern, Franziska Kreuz-Pointner, a niece of major music academy sponsor Hermann Kreuz-Pointner, but the lazy fox keeps him off his work.

Beauty salon owner Valerie Schmelzer's corpse is discovered there, without the stabbing weapon, by employee Regina Bauer and client Maria Riedl. Uninformative aunt Gertraud Schmelzer claims she was with a neighbor, who later denies. Regina Bauer risked being fired for robbing the till. Hansen and Hofer find Valerie's fiance Frank Richter, whom she handed large sums, is a seasoned marriage swindler and tries to flee. Police chief Achtziger, accountant Lorenz and ministry correspondent Seitz confer whether and how to draft a 'creative' internship report for lazy Franziska Kreuz-Pointner, without grieving her uncle Hermann Kreuz-Pointner who is about to finance the music academy's new concert piano.

Pensioner Eberhard Brucker was fatally stabbed in the house he gave his son in ex change for seven years of free full board. Hansen and Hofer investigate his long-estranged son Andreas Brucker, and ex-daughter in law Ingrid Brucker, who visited him regularly in rest home "Sonnenbichl" and may be after the heirloom jewelry. Home receptionist Herbert Maier says like both kin Eberhard Brucker was reputed stingy. Retired, attention-craving actress Gertrud Landmann confesses, first to the press, having murdered her fellow resident, claiming an absurd MO. Eberhard Brucker had buried gold bars in his jealously guarded rose garden. The precinct parking is the ill-chose location for an abstract 'sculpture'.
