Ace cameraman Jack Remy has a successful directing assignment in Sin City's "Together Forever", an intriguing thriller in the popular genre instigated by Barbet Schroeder's mainstream hit "Single White Female".
Ava Vincent is the roommate with dark motives, who moves in with heroine Kristi Myst half-way through the picture. It's an interesting story structure, as the viewer's focus and interest shifts from one leading lady to the other, not unlike the ground-breaking ploy Hitchcock used in "Psycho" regarding Janet leigh and Vera Miles.
Casting is wonderful, as Vincent, who first shows up in a black wig that more than hints at skullduggery to come, very closely resembles Myst except in the bust line.
Twists and turns of the script are well-handled and story keeps one guessing. It was amusing to me to read the negative prior review posted in IMDb, which reflects not only the sad aversion to narrative cinema in porn of late but the pathetic inability of 21st Century fans to watch Adult Cinema in which safe-sex condoms were once the norm.
