Can you spell A-W-F-U-L?

This is worse than amateur movie-making. It's absolutely horrible. It would take up too much time to dissect each defect, so let me just say that I think a junior high school student who hasn't ever read mysteries wrote it.

Funny at first, but loses steam afterward.

I watched this film when it was first released in 2001 on PAX. As I recall, it was about a businessman, played by Gren Evigan, who teams up with an Italian girl, played by Donna-Marie Recco, to solve a murder plot among a group of friends. Recco was hilarious in the first half of the movie, giving us a dose of her Italian accent. However, the movie loses steam towards the middle and end when the movie sways away from Evigan and Recco, and concentrates on the subplot of the movie. But, this movie goes at a steady-pace, so it doesn't drag and leaves the audience craving for the end to come.

So, if you would like to spend some quiet TV time with some friends, this would be a good film to pass the time.

I am a long time fan of Greg Evigan and of his work

I highly recommend this movie to any age group. Its exciting, suspenseful and another great movie of Greg's. The interaction between the starring characters was incredible. Its an all round wonderful movie. I do hope that a weekly series is borne from this movie. It would certainly be well received by all of the fans of the star performers. This movie has a five star rating as far as I'm concerned.

Not Great but has its Moments

A very light mystery with fun moments, filmed in Toronto. Greg Evigan & Jeannie Raymond are good in their parts, dealing with a weak script but DonnaMarie Recco's accent is truly laughable. She's supposed to be from Italy but frequently drops her accent (she was born in NYC) & often her accent sounds Russian. The ending appears to be set up for another mystery, which appears to have been never filmed and/or released. But all in all, a fun time waster for those who enjoy light improbable mysteries!
