Utter garbage
welshNick13 June 2005
At a time when quality comedy on television was in short supply we were subjected to this complete monstrosity courtesy of the BBC (I believe.) The Krankies have to be amongst the most unfunny people ever to appear on television and how Jannette can try and pass herself off as a naughty schoolboy is beyond belief. How a man of the undoubted talents of Bobby Davro agreed to do this I will never understand. He had his own show once and did some very good impressions. This leads me on to Jimmy Cricket. Words are not really necessary, he can't sing and can't tell jokes. I had the misfortune of seeing him live a few years ago in Croydon which I can safely say was the worst evenings of my life .... it rates as slightly worse than the evening I was stuck on an underground train for 2 hours !!!!

Warning: Spoilers
The Krankies are one of the best comedy acts ever, the person who said they are rubbish is probably one of those self-pitying, lonely cry-babies. There is no pleasing that type of person. I do admit that the humour can be a bit dry, but it is aimed at the younger generation. I can't believe that last comment, not only is at a part of the memory of growing up, it is funny. Your children will love The Krankies. And as to mentioning that Jimmy Cricket is rubbish, then that guy who says that he is rubbish really is beyond help. Believe me when I tell you, they come from an era of comedy where comedy was a little dry and weird, but compared to todays comedy, they just can't be topped. OK, he/she is entitled to their opinion, but if you want a realistic opinion mine is the real deal. The Krankies made it big in comedy and so did Jimmy Cricket, so they must have done something right. That last person to comment would probably be happier knitting a pair of socks.
