NEW YORK -- First Look Media has acquired all U.S. rights to helmer Eleanore Lindo's family drama Touching Wild Horses, starring Jane Seymour. The film follows Mark (Mark Rendall), a young man sent to Sable Island -- a world-famous wild horse preserve -- to live with his reclusive Aunt Fiona (Jane Seymour) after a car accident leaves his father and sister dead and his mother in a coma. The film, which screened at festivals from Toronto to Tribeca, is slated to open April 30 and will have a fall DVD/home video rollout. The Horses deal was brokered by First Look's Bill Bromiley and Chesler-Perlmutter Prods.' David M. Perlmutter. The film marks First Look's first theatrically released family film as the company moves into that sector of the market.
