Not Really Worth Your Time
crossbow010627 June 2010
Borrowing little except the title from the American film, this is a dumb teen comedy about three losers in school who have to win a tennis tournament to continue to stay in school. Its also about their relationships, for which you wonder why any young lady would want to be with such unambitious goof balls. The actress who plays Siu-Yau is much better than this film and shouldn't mention it when she has asked what films she has been in. For what is essentially a sex comedy, there is little stimulating about it. It is also about 15 years or so too late, this is the kind of vacuous nonsense that permeated the late 70's to mid 80's, especially in the United States. Do they win the tournament and stay at school? Take my word, you don't even care. When the best thing about a film is its relative short length (80 minutes), you know its a film to avoid. Don't watch it, even if you love teen sex comedies.

Run away from this movie

I discovered this movie on Netflix. I noticed that it had many bad reviews-more than I have ever seen for a film. I figured that it couldn't be that bad.

Oh boy, it is that bad. It is so bad that if Mystery Science Theater 3000 were to use this film for their show, the poor robots would short circuit and fizzle out in horror.

It is essentially about two boys who enter a tennis tournament to win over these "Japanese exchange student girls." The subtitles are very hard to read and don't make too much sense. The acting is horrific and the jokes make you feel very embarrassed for all involved in the movie.

Unless you are an extreme masochistic, I would advise you not waste your time with this cinematic stinker.
