Two 40'x8' containers are not enough for transporting 400 people.
During the truck chase, the convoy runs the same section of the highway over and over again.
When the BMW gets a flat tire, it is replaced with a non standard alloy. In the next scene, the original alloy is back on the car.
Near the end, Lai's father and his driver suddenly reappear, although they didn't have a way to get there that quickly. The driver had lost his consciousness yet he reappeared a few moments later.
When Frank and Lai escape the burning house via the exit in basement they jump into water. Frank comes up with diving equipment but Lai never puts on any fins. However in the next few shots where she's diving and getting out of the water, she has fins on.
At the start of the 'oil' scene in the bus depot, one of the first people to attack Frank already has oil on his top before anyone lands in any oil (this is presumably from an earlier take).
There is absolutely no way to hot-wire a current S class Mercedes by yanking out a fistful of cables from under the dash and sticking some of them together.
During the bank heist at the beginning, one robber shoots another to conform to the deal with Frank of only transporting three people. However, blood splatters on the back window indicating an exit wound. If there were an exit wound the bullet should have gone through the back windshield as well.
Frank has oil all over him, then he jumps into the water and the oil has been washed away. Water cannot do this.
When Frank raids Wall Street's villa for revenge, he dives behind a detached door on the ground for shelter against the fire from the bad guys. In real life those bullets would easily penetrate that wooden door and the door would be useless for protection against firearms. This could be explained, however, by being a solid steel core door. Given the criminal nature of the homeowner it is quite possible he would have such a reinforced door.
When vehicles are transported on a carrier, they are chained to the trailer. It is illegal to haul an unsecured load. Simply lowering the ramp would not cause the car to roll off the trailer.
Many goofs here complains about wrong continuity. In fact, the editing style of the movie often uses technique known as "time squeeze" for faster unwinding of the action. In these scenes they are cutting out minor details (such as paying for drink, putting fins on, taking off stethoscope, unfolding stock of the rifle, arriving of Lai's father's car in the final sequence and so on).
After the oil fight, when Frank falls through the window and into the water, the shot from the water of him landing has a stuntman with a full head of hair, even though Frank is almost completely bald
When the car jumps from the bridge onto the truck in the opening chase, as it flies through the air you can see that the tyres are missing on the left-hand-side wheels.
As Frank is seen in the bus station repair shop immediately after getting out of the water, his clothes are dry and he is does not trail any water as he walks.
At the start of the fight on the bus, the men grab metal pipes that are "conveniently" placed under the seats and are cut to an exact length.
After Frank drops off Lai and stops for a snack, his BMW is blown up. During the explosion, Frank is blown backward and upward but nothing else is. Above his head is a black flag which continues to flutter gently in the breeze. And the lightweight tables and chairs which are very close to the car do not move at all. In addition, the explosion comes from underneath the car and the car jumps up in to the air. But the bomb was in the briefcase inside the car so the car should have stayed in place and, if anything, the roof or windows should have blown up and out, not the entire car. Also, Frank should have been blown backward only, not upward as well.
Spelling Mistake: the opening credits list this movie as being "In Association with Current Entertainement and Canal +".
During the highway action sequence, when Frank kicks the driver out of the truck and the door flies off of the road, you can obviously see it is a dummy.
When Frank and Wall Street are fighting in the truck cab, especially when Wall Street is about to kick Frank through the windshield of the truck, a driver's hands can be seen on the wheel in shots from outside.
The camera reflection can be seen in the rear bumper of the Mercedes when Frank is driving in reverse (after changing his mind about leaving Lai in the street).
Just before Frank's BMW is blown up, his white collar is visible as he walks toward the car. The instant the car explodes and Frank leaves his feet his coat is pulled upward and covers his white collar, and the harness (used to lift him off his feet) is visible under his jacket at shoulder level.
It doesn't take from the middle of the night to full sunup to drive from Marseilles to Lyon.
Frank is told to deliver the package (with Lai) to "Rue de Luxembourg", however when he exits the gates of the house, the street signs says "Avenue de Saissy", the real name of the street in Cannes, France.
Lai is tied to a chair (hands and feet). She is able to get to the car by tiptoeing. How does she then open the door, drag herself and the chair into the car and close the door behind her? Not to mention the fact that someone as careful as Frank steals the car without noticing a woman tied to an office chair in the back seat.
When Frank runs up to the crop-duster with his plane in the field, the crop-duster says "good morning" to him in English regardless of Frank being a) In France and b) not saying a word to him in introduction to reveal himself as being English.
No explanation was given as to what happened to the other human trafficking truck.
When Frank is driving the truck, he uses a shard of mirror to see behind him. However, the light reflected onto his face means that the mirror was pointing the sun, not to what he was "looking at".
Frank drives back to his house with Lai in the stolen Mercedes. The next day Wall Street's henchmen arrive at the house and destroy it. How did they find his secret lair? Did it not occur to Frank that the top of the line Mercedes might be fitted with a tracker? For such a meticulous man, that was a pretty silly mistake to make.
When Frank is talking to Inspector Tarconi, Tarconi refers to his car as a 1999 black BMW 765 but when Frank talks about it, he refers to it as a 735. Tarconi admits he cannot keep track of it all anymore, so the slip could be an honest one.
Frank is meant to be a meticulous man and an expert driver. Yet his getaway driving at the start of the film almost ends in disaster. He is surrounded by cops, and only escapes by driving his car off a bridge and on to a passing car transporter. He cannot have planned for that to happen, so his escape was sheer good luck.
Frank's business is transporting things with no questions asked. But at the start of the film, he is working as a getaway driver for a gang of bank robbers. Frank's business is meant to be very discrete, so he would not want to get involved in such a dangerous undertaking.
