    The Chuckle Brothers are going into tele-marketing, and have got an office. They make efforts to put in their own telephone line, oblivious to the efforts of an actual telephone engineer, whom they accidentally pour water over, knock off his ladder, squirt with oil and blow up. He is not best pleased and confiscates the telephone, meaning the brothers have to use a phone box, but they even manage to sabotage that, putting all the local phone lines out of order.

Calling on injured farmer Mrs. Nettle they offer to help her collect her eggs and discover that neighbouring Farmer Palmer is trying to steal her prize rooster, Roger, though he accidentally traps Barry in his chicken costume before getting trapped himself and driven away by a very strange-looking bird indeed.

Miss Pringle is visiting to bestow a cheque on the museum and presumes that Paul and Barry are curators, asking them for a guided tour. As a result she presents the cheque just to get rid of them.

The cousins stake their 'roller' against the Chuckle Brothers' bike, the ChuckMobile. After an all-night session,Harry suggests the outcome be decided on one hole alone and Paul agrees. That roller really seems in sight.

Barry is sent in to the cave to brave the fire-breathing dragon, but he has a clever plan, which foils Mandrake and earns the Chuckle Brothers the gratitude of the king.

Stupid Paul fails to see him for what he is, and attempts to be nice to him, but covering him with honey, catapulting him off the see-saw and trampling him underfoot ensures the deal is off.

Paul is anxious to make a fortune with Auntie Rita's hair restorer, but after a lady client temporarily sprouts a beard due to its accidental use, the brothers see that they are not 'cut out' for this profession.

Their attempts to paint white line markers are literally all over the place so they use green paint to fade them out, but this kills the grass. After a visit to Reg the Hedge, the brothers plant seeds on the pitch, but this turns it into a vegetable plot and they get chased away by the team.

    Paul and Barry are working in the lost property office of Slow Coach Bus Service, and keen new manager Mr. Ramsbottom tells them he is a master of disguise, who will be constantly checking on them. When old Mrs. Halibut, who has lost her husband on the bus, comes in Paul assumes that this is Ramsbottom in disguise but, after the mistake has been cleared up, he gets into bigger trouble by assuming the present the manager has bought for his wife is to be thrown away.

He attempts to scare off the brothers by impersonating the Phantom Piper, but has to come clean eventually. Paul comes up with a solution.

    The Chuckle Brothers are guarding a priceless Egyptian vase for Dan the Van, but two young tearaways, Ed and Fred, are determined to steal it. Fortunately Barry has accidentally cloned himself twice over in a cloning machine, and is able to send away the intruders well and truly 'battered'. He even cloned the vase as a precaution, which comes in handy when it gets smashed to pieces.

    In a completely dialogue-free episode the Chuckle Brothers are working as maintenance men at a hospital, but their insistence on silence lands Dr. Procter on a hospital trolley, which runs away and leaves him with his head stuck in the railings. Transferred - with railings - to a hospital bed, he does not appreciate Paul and Barry's efforts to help him, or the busker outside his window.
