- There is a scene where once you defeat Knuckles, Doctor Robotnik electrocutes him. After this ordeal Knuckles is weak for the rest of the game. His skeleton can also be shown, but once again, nothing too violent.

- The stage known as Sandopolis is more stressful than scary, but the ghosts may scare younger children. Also, the time limit can also make things more intense.
