Flesh Target: Rape is another hardcore Japanese Pinku movie. I have to admit that I've not seen a great deal of films like this; to be honest, films about rape aren't really my cup of tea and thus I don't generally seek them out. However, I ended up with a copy of this and decided to watch it...and actually, for what it is, the film is fairly decent; despite a running time that only just stretches to feature length and a complete lack of anything approaching a point. Bizarrely, it would seem that the comedy in this film is intentional; which effectively makes it a 'rape comedy'. I bet it's not the only one either. Anyway, the plot simply focuses on a man working in an office. He gets drunk at a party, says something stupid and gets the boot; so resolves to go around raping all the best girls that work where he used to work. However, the next day he actually gets his job back; but decides to just carry on with the whole raping thing anyway.
Naturally the film is very sleazy and since most of it is made up of rape scenes, it certainly won't be for everyone. Despite not being able to show any full frontal nudity; director Yukihiro Sawada approaches his subject material with relish and all of the rape scenes go on for a long time and are as rough and gritty as possible. There's some variety too, and the director shows some ingenuity with the situations leading to these rape scenes. The sleaze factor in the film is suitably high and this obviously suits the subject material very well. Running at around seventy two minutes, the film doesn't have a great deal of time to get into the characters; but at least the runtime is used well. The comedy in the film is suitably black and flows well in the context of the film. It all boils down to a rather clever and unexpected 'twist' at the end. Overall, I have to admit that I did enjoy this film, although I wouldn't go ahead and recommend it to everyone.

An office "loser" becomes a "winner" by sexually assaulting and raping the women he works with -- not to mention (though I will) some unlucky enough to meet him after office hours.
Yukihiro Sawada, director of the brutal ASSAULT!, a truly gritty pink film, makes no concessions to political correctness in this mostly riveting sex pic.
Not quite as stylish as Hasebe's RAPE!, a film with a similar theme, it is, nevertheless, required viewing for fans of cinematic sex and violence hybrids.
Sawada's background in hard-edged crime/yakuza films gives him the good sense to probe, to satisfying results, the warped psychology of the office environment the movie takes place in.
FLESH TARGET: RAPE is an alternative title, as is the simple FLESH TARGET.
There is something gloriously anarchic and wrong about this film and that's why I respect it (and its brethren) so much.

A sexually frustrated office worker hit his boss in the night club. The next day he is told to be demoted to a different position in the company. He gets so disturbed and thus begins his rape rampage-he rapes a number of hard-to-get ladies in his company.Surprisingly the ladies are stimulated by his assault and finally help him in getting promoted.Yukihiro Sawada's "Flesh Target" is one of the countless pink rape flicks produced by Nikkatsu. The rape scenes are brutal and there are tons of sleaze for fans of Japanese exploitation to enjoy. The acting is fine and the cinematography is great.Overall,I liked this film and you should too,if you are into pinku eiga genre.Fans of "Beautiful Girl Hunter" or Yasuharu Hasebe's politically incorrect rape flicks should give it a try.
