As they fight against time, their quest disrupts the lives of the townspeople, and the trio must use their incredible intelligence, along with Gawl's unique abilities, to protect their identities, their friends, and their future.

If you have been thinking about watching this show, please do not hesitate in doing so! This show is incredibly funny, while also showing great fight scenes in each episode. It's only about 12 episodes, so if you do want to watch it, it's not an insanely long series, so you could probably finish it in a day or two. Vic Mignogna was absolutely HILARIOUS as Gawl, and his voice acting was on point in the more serious scenes. Loved the story line of the show, and I never saw the plot twist coming. I think this series is one of the most underrated anime series of all time, and I highly recommend it to any anime fan.

One of my favorite anime series of all time

I watched this way back in 2002, after buying the DVDs from a used movie store, and I still have those DVDs to this day. I am perpetually shocked that more people haven't seen this, because it absolutely rocks.

The show combines humor, science fiction, exciting world-building, excellent character development, and a dash of mild horror to create an incredibly rich viewing experience. The humorous moments are light-hearted and laugh-out-loud funny, and the serious, tense, and sad moments are handled with immense solemnity, but it never feels out of synch with itself.

The English voice acting is absolutely phenomenal, and everyone put their all into it. It's sharp, interesting, and fun to watch. It's also short! One of my very favorite series of all time. If anyone has a chance to watch it, please give it a try!
