A Love Story in the Massage Parlor
claudio_carvalho12 April 2011
In São Paulo, the messy Celso can not honor the bounced check he used to pay for stocks he has just bought and is pressed by the manager of his bank that gives 30 minutes to Celso to deposit sufficient funds to honor the check. Celso is stressed and while crossing the street, he has a nervous breakdown and is helped by a stranger, Dr. Mauro, who invites him to go with him to the "Brut Relax for Men" to have a massage and relax. Celso is introduced to the sexy Lorenia (Aldine Muller) and stays with her despite the rules of "non-exclusivity" imposed by the manager of the massage parlor. Meanwhile, the crook costumer Comendador pretends that he is blind but loses his spectacles; however, the client Trindade finds the glasses and discovers that they are an x-ray apparatus that allows the user to see the women naked. There are also four friends disputing the services of the masseuses. In the end, Celso and Lorenia fall in love with each other.

"O Segredo das Massagistas" is a stupid comedy where only the hot Audine Muller makes it worth; unfortunately it is so few. The story is ridiculous and never funny; maybe the romance of the yokel Celso with the masseuse Lorenia, treating her like a sweetheart and calling each other "my darling", "my love" and other sweet expressions, is the only hilarious part of this flick. The women in the massage parlor behave almost like respectable ladies and all the clients that wear cream color underwear seem to be silly teenagers. I do not understand how someone can invest money in the production of this film, maybe only the real owner of the "Brut Relax for Men" to promote his massage parlor. The only thing good in the dumb conclusion of this senseless love story with Celso dating Lorenia is the delightful close of the face of the coquettish Audine Miller. Love is beautiful, isn't it? My vote is two.
