- There is an unlockable secret skater named "Private Carrera" who has sexual references in her bio and special tricks. She also wears only a bra and panties in her alternate outfit.

- Several skateboarders can be seen getting injured in the unlockable bails movies, with a little bit of blood in one of them.
- At some points in the New York level, you can hear background ambience of a few gun shots followed by a woman's scream.
- There's some blood whenever you bail in the game.
Profanity

- In the song "Guerrilla Radio" by "Rage Against the Machine" had some of the profanity cut out in the PlayStation 1 game including the word "Shit" muted out and the first verse line involving the word "Fuck" has been cut out in both the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation 1 game. However the word "Hell" is used in the PlayStation 1 game while the Nintendo 64 version replaces the word with "Honey".
- The words "Fuck" and "Shit" from the songs "You" by "Bad Religion", and "Guerrilla Radio" by "Rage Against the machine" has been muted and censored in all video game versions including the Nintendo 64, Playstation 1, and Dreamcast releases of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2.
- Some mild profanity in the song lyrics. However, some instances of "Shit" and all instances of "Fuck" in songs are muted and replaced with milder alternatives.
