When Aaron Hallam is stuck in traffic, he smashes his car head-on into several cars so that the hood is badly damaged. But when he gets out of the car near the bridge, the hood is completely intact.
When Aaron steals the car from his family garage followed by the police chase, the car is majorly damaged as he flees. When we see car next it is dumped and the law enforcement are shown inspecting it, there is clearly no heavy front-end damage or damage whatsoever.
There is no explanation as to where Hallam got the 100 plus ft. of rope for making the snare that caught Bonham and dangled him over the river.
After Bonham falls off the cliff, he is hanging only a few feet above the rapids, but when he unleashes himself, he falls a much longer distance into the water.
When Hallam quenches his new, red-hot knife in the stream, a jump cut is visible and the knife is no longer red-hot. Indeed, quenching steel in water takes considerably longer than the few seconds shown in the film (possibly why it was cut).
Before the two "hunters" are killed, one of the night vision scopes wobbles on the rifle it's mounted to.
Courthouses have underground and back entrances for bringing suspects into the courtroom. Taking the suspect from the front street to the court just is not done.
In the beginning, one of the military men says, "On my mark, 3-2-1", and then the action begins. In reality, the countdown would go, "3-2-1-MARK!", and whatever action is called for would occur when the counter says the word "MARK", usually said loudly for emphasis. That's why the counter says "On my mark", and not "On 1."
During Bonham's exploration of Irene's house, the timid cat on the bed upstairs is being restrained by a thin cable from underneath the cover. When the cat is panned into view, the cable is clearly seen being released, allowing the camera-shy feline to seek safety behind the pillow.
When L.T is on top of the MAX train chasing Aaron, there is the "click-clack-click-clack" sound of a train, but when the camera shows the deck of the bridge behind and in front of the "train" you can see that there are no tracks (the Hawthorne Bridge carries cars, not trains). Tracks are only shown when the "train" makes an emergency stop before Aaron climbs up the bridge. Even then, the tracks are merely shiny strips of metal unevenly laid upon the bridge's metal grating, with no grooves for the wheels at all in the surface.
The wire used to pull the spike out of Bonham's leg when he's impaled on the cliff is seen as it whizzes by. The scene was first shot pulling the spike out, then played in reverse to achieve the desired effect.
The reporter at the scene of the wreck of the van that Aaron escaped from states that as far as the authorities were aware there were only three men on the van (two agents guarding Aaron and the driver). However, in an earlier scene there were numerous people who witnessed Aaron climbing out of the wreck and telling them that he was all right before he ran off.
When Bonham is first looking for Hallum after the two "sweepers" have been killed, he comes upon the remnants of the snare Hallum used. In the scene where the sweeper is caught by the snare, one can see it's made from 550 (parachute) cord. It is also 550 cord when Bonham tugs on it attached to the tree. However, the loop section of the snare that Bonham picks up with the stick is obviously constructed of wire.
At 1 hour 12 minutes the train driver has to do an emergency stop yet nobody on the train is thrown forward by this emergency braking which defies the laws of physics.
In the opening scene, set in modern Kosovo, there is a brief shot of what it appears to be a Serbian gendarme on a bicycle. Serbian gendarmerie (along with their recognizable uniforms) ceased to exist 55 years earlier.
The Metro-Area Express (MAX) is shown running on the Hawthorne Bridge. The MAX actually runs along the Steel Bridge which overlooks less-colorful scenery.
Aaron escapes from the wrecked van with the scruffy clothes he was wearing when he was apprehended in the woods. As a prisoner, he would not have been carrying money or credit cards. Yet shortly afterwards he shows up at his girlfriend's house in a nice suit and tie. There is no explanation as to how he managed to obtain his new garb.
The Department of Defense agents taking Aaron into custody from the FBI correctly describe him as "a killing machine." Given this, Aaron certainly would have been taken away handcuffed. However, the agents leave him uncuffed in the van with a guard sitting right next to him, enabling Aaron to attack the guard and make good his escape.
