The grass is always greener on the other side
What worked:
The movie is unlike many Nepali movie of the time, in terms of the content and the appeal. It's fair to say the lead were great in their roles. I would say Mithila and Gauri both were great in their portrayal of their role. The screenplay is very well written and directed well. What stood out was the cinematography of the movie, making it a wonderful movie viewing experience. Also, the movie impresses with the great cultural and religious sentiments
What did not work
One thing that did not work is the cliche dialogues though done minimally than any other Nepali movie. It could have been avoided with a normal dialogues. Also, I think the ending had very limited illustrations and clues about the way it ended. Though relevant but a bit more suggestive scenes would have helped
Final verdict: recommended; one of those pathbreaking Nepali movie
