A Cool Like That Christmas

First of all, this came out in 1993. This cartoon special had an all star cast such as Whoopi Goldberg, Boyz II Men, Patrick Ewing, Dr. Dre and some In Living Color alumnus such as Tommy Davidson, and T'Keyah Crystal Keymah etc. I wish they would show this on TV again. This was so funny, I almost died laughing. The jokes can come from out of nowhere and there is some good Christmas music from Boyz II Men. Anyone who wants to see what Christmas in the Hood is like and wants to have a good laugh in doing so should check this out. Bring this out on DVD or bring this back on TV. I'm surprised it was only shown one time. I'll definitely watch this again.

It was a great T.V. special. The writing, music, characters, and animation were great. There were some valuable moral messages in the special that are worth sharing with kids. I also love the religious connection. The minister, the church, the Mother Mary at the end. This T.V. special was so true to life on so many levels. The humor also made the show great. I love the music. Boyz II Men really did their thing with "Let It Snow." I can hear the music in my head right now and see them standing there in animation singing the song. It really should be placed on the air again for the next generation to see it. I'd love to get a copy of A Cool Like That Christmas on DVD for my own personal library.
