A Great companion piece to 'rules of engagement'

I agree with the the above, in that this should be a companion piece to Waco: Rules of Engagement. That movie was almost unbelievable, and still gives me nightmares. Some of those pictures still make me tear-up. But this one fills in the gaps a bit more, and also talks about Vince Foster who may have killed himself over the deaths. He was the white house liaison to the whole Waco fiasco, and one of his last notes that wasn't seized and shoved in some 'national security' hole, states that the FBI 'lied to me.' I really don't know how the other people can live with themselves, it's almost ;o| enough to make me think we are ruled by reptilian aliens.

Messed Up Happenings

This doco continues to confirm that the Branch Davidians were up against child intimidators, child torturers, child murderers! Charlie Schumer (or whatever his stupid name is) just makes ya sick to your stomach. No doubt Kosher let all the praise of his followers go to his head, but that's human. Like all human leaders, if you're surrounded by sheeple who call you the chosen one or god or whatever, you're gonna start believing it and abusing it. It's built into us.

history in the making

This is a rather interesting movie. Not only for the movie, but also the events that surround it. In 1993, the tragedy at Waco, Texas between a religious group and government authorities took place. At first it seemed like a bunch of bible twisting wackos killed themselves and some ATF agents too. (Total death count at 100+) But over the years, some other information has found it's way out. In 1996, the movie "Waco, the Rules of Engagement" came out and really shook things up. (a must see movie) Then the US government tried to answer some of the allegations made in that first movie, but never really regained the confidence of many people. (myself included). So the producers of the first movie released this one in 1999 to "rebut" the governments "answers" to the first movie. So I can see why the direct approach was taken. (And it's very direct.)

What is so amazing to me is that this "battle" between the government and those concerned about this event (Waco) is taking place in movie theaters and people's homes. The news agencies seem to be completely oblivious to the conflict, and the only way people are going to know is to rent or buy the videos themselves....

Who should you fear more?

This movie is the perfect addition to anyone's government conspiracy theory movie library. It shows perfectly how the government screwed up and then lied about it. Plus, even before the movie was finished it launched a new congressional investigation, unprecedented in history for a movie to get the government to react. The film makers created a excellent time line of the events that happened from February 28th - April 19th, 1993 and the lies, cover-up and White House scandal that followed.

Everyone needs to see this movie and make up their own mind who the greater evil is... I think the line has been hazed after seeing this movie.

Not the better of the series

This is a film to supplement one's research into the events that occurred in Waco, TX between Feburary 28th, 1993 and April 19th, 1993. In and of itself, it is a poor effort. It deals with too many unprovable conspiracy theories and makes too many hasty accusations. If one wants to get an understanding of the truth behind Waco, the best sources are the documentary "Waco: The Rules of Engagement" and the books "The Ashes of Waco: An Investigation" by Dick J. Reavis and "A Place Called Waco" by David Thibodeau. I do not recommend seeing this film until the other sources have been first referenced.
