More Strangeness From Otto Muehl And Company

What can I say that I haven't already? I don't get this stuff. It's not "sexy" enough to be porn, and most of it isn't graphic enough to be fetish-films either...I just don't get the point. Another strange short-film from Otto Muehl and his band of merry freaks...

A bunch of people have sex in and around a lake. Interspersed are some other weird scenes of a sexual nature including some urine-drinking and weird vaginal insertion...

Who knows what the purpose of this mess is. It's not really all that shocking - it's just weird. I guess if weird is your thing, you'll love this stuff - me...not so much...2/10

"Sodoma" is an Austrian 16-minute movie from 1970, so this one is approaching its 50th anniversary now. The writer and director is Otto Muehl and this is one of his more known efforts from his really prolific 1970. He was in his mid-40s at that point. It is called an experimental and subversive film here on IMDb, but I just call it porn. And not tasteful or enchanting porn, but just gross stuff involving food fetishes mostly. During the few moments when you actually can identify something. The video quality is extremely low here for the most part especially in the second half that is almost entirely recorded from a static camera. I have seen films from the 19th century where it is easier to see and understand what is going on. So yeah overall, this film here gets a massive thumbs-down from me for sure. In my opinion, it is missing an artistic element completely and it sure says nothing positive about Muehl and his career that this is one of his most known. Even at under 20 minutes I wished this could have been way shorter. Highly not recommended.
