It amazes me the sheer amount of people who are on a quest for the "historical Jesus" who have no training, education, or qualifications to actually do so. Watching Jennings' report on "The Search for Jesus" baffled me - since when did a news anchorman become an expert on Biblical archaeology, linguistics, etymology, epistemology, and theology? Interesting report to say the least, but an expert in this field and qualified to report on this subject? HARDLY! He approaches this subject with an amazing amount of bias and prejudice and sets out to almost DISPROVE the existence and/or influence of the most historically documented individual in the world - Jesus the Christ. If you want to see an interesting expose on the search for the "historical Jesus", okay - watch it. If you are looking to meet Jesus personally - look elsewhere.
