Sex & Nudity

  • Some Strong Sexuality
  • Mild Sensuality
  • Japanese version contains some hidden sexual reference, or cavarage of girls/monsters, but it's not big issue. America and other versions don't contain same amount of sexual referring, it's very rare and non directly in America.
  • The Japanese uncut version has mild clevage at moments and has slight sexual references, but nothing too bad. The monsters sometimes have clevage or bare breasts but no nipples or anything else. The American version censors anything like this.

Violence & Gore

  • The Japanese has mild blood at times and has some disturbing moments. The series can be somewhat gruesome. Monsters get sliced into pieces, but no gore is shown. Characters do get killed, but it is usually mild comapred to anime like One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, and Fairy Tail.
  • Violence is mild in the American version. It is completely censored.

Profanity

  • The profanity is somewhat heavy. "Damn", "Bitch", "Hell", and "Crap" are said often, but "shit" can be said infrequently, depending on the group that is subtitling. The English dub has no profanity except for a trio of "uncut" DVDs containing redubbed versions of the first nine episodes, where profanity is left intact.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Very mild in the Japanese version. Some characters smoke or drink, but it is rare and isn't heavy at all.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Bugs and Doll like creatures are shown at points in the series which might cause distress, although not the focus (in some cases).
  • The scenes aren't very intense or scary. The Japanese is a bit more intense, but it isn't too bad.
