Great, entertaining movie. Super, extreme sports footage. It's refreshing to have a clean movie that the entire family can sit down and watch, without it being a movie only for young children. It's nice to have guys and a girl characters shown in a non-sexual relationship. No nudity or coarse language.
Just about young people having fun. Good references to the Lord without being preachy. Love the soundtrack with Newsboys, Tobymac, Skillet, etc.
TRIVIA: The car involved (which they say is a cross between a Jeep and a Toyota)is actually a Volkswagon "Thing" produced by Volkswagon to be an all- terrain military vehicle. Only 29,000 of these vehicles produced.

For anyone who intends to, but hasn't yet seen this film - you're in for a real treat. The movie is great. When I first saw the trailer for the film, I thought - "This is fantastic! Its about time someone made a Christian movie about young people doing amazing things in extreme sports." I just thought that was so cool, and I would say to myself - "Finally, people are going to learn, seeing with their own eyes, what it truly means to live life to the fullest, realizing just how extreme Christianity is." Now that I've seen the movie, I'm thinking that I may have been right all along. People who aren't Christians are going to see this movie, and come out of the theater with their minds broadened, having learned that there are things in this world worth living for, and that there is absolutely no reason why anyone should feel that their life is so terrible that the only way out is death. At least, that's what I'm hoping people will get from seeing this movie. In any case, I highly recommend this film to people of all ages, especially those who enjoy watching young people take part in extreme sports such as motorcycling, surfing, and snow boarding.

I saw Extreme Days with my church group last night and had a mixed opinion of it. I did enjoy it, and it was entertaining, but there was definitely an element that only kids in a church group would get. For example, when one character notes among the girl's qualities, "She's smart, she prays like, 100 times a day, she's President of student body", all the kids heads nodded as they said to themselves, "Oh, that's how they'll tie in the Christian element." It is bothersome that there is always a hidden agenda in movies like this. Christians can produce quality cinematic art, but too often the pieces are focused on conversion, and the subtler it gets the more obvious and offensive it becomes. The plot twists ("curveballs" in the trip, as the movie calls them) were interesting and helped carry the story around, and the extreme sports and music were good, but it was too obviously low-budget and intended to appeal to and convert young teenagers.
The movie makers need to come to the realization that if they want a movie to appeal to the youth of this generation, the stereotypes of gen-Xers do not identify with our generation and they need new ideas, not "another teen movie".

I can't believe that I even rented this AWFUL movie. I couldn't wait until it was over. The video's box makes it sound like a wild road trip movie, but it is a pointless, plotless, dull, boring, badly acted movie. I gave it one star, only because there isn't anything less than that. If this is the only video remaining in the video store, walk away!!!
For a better, funnier road trip movie, watch "Road Trip" !

If you're looking for a movie with a lot of sexual humor, cursing, and inappropriate scenes, look elsewhere. Extreme Days is a (fairly clean movie and is a good alternative for people who liked the feel of "Road Trip" and "Euro Trip" but didn't like all the sexuality and language. If your idea of humor thrives on sex scenes and gross jokes, go elsewhere. The movie does have it's share of weird moments, such as the boys lighting their farts on fire and Extreme Shopping. This is a good clean movie you can watch with anyone including but not limited too, pastors, parents, nuns, old people, ninjas, and the FBI.I recommend it for parties, youth events, and just generally having a good time.

"Would you like a falafel with that?" -the quote I can't go a day without throwing in a conversation.
Extreme Days is one of those rare movie treats that allows for Christian morals and values to be openly discussed among a youthful generation. Its something youth groups and definitely parents of Christian children will appreciate, there is no cursing, sexual orientation or profanity. Very refreshing!!
As a Christain and a teenager, this film really relates to my daily life. While non-Christians tend to think of us as well adjusted and behaved individuals, Extreme Days presents us as we are. Full of life, energetic, at times reckless, passionate, emotional and adventurous. After all; LIFE'S A TRIP.
I would recommend this film to anyone seeking answers about truth, love, having faith and a life with God. A truly worthwhile experience
May God bless your heart and be with you wherever you go:)
P.S. My best friend is as crazy (if not more) as Matt, love you bro!

It had one joke that was only slightly funny. Much of the movie is filled by people doing extreme type sports. This is just filler and is intended to convey the idea that the characters are having a wonderful time. I was so glad when the movie was finally over.
If I had the option to give it an eleven I would have. Non stop hilarity. One of those really stupid humor kind of movies. Very unique film. Props to the writers of this film. They wrote an amazing film. I just have no idea how they came up with some of this stuff. I nearly pee myself every time I watch the fight scene (which I watch over and over). The sound effects make that scene. I'm not a huge fan of some aspects of the love story but I suppose every movie has to have one at some point. Some of my friends don't like the whole break-out-of-story-and-into-extreme-sports aspect of the movie but it didn't really bother me at all. It showed some pretty talented people doing some pretty cool moves while showcasing some great Christian music (W00t for Pillar).

While this movie has its set backs, being poor filming and sometimes sketchy acting, for the first time in the past 5 years I have seen a movie that has interested me and does not have a rating above PG. This movie encompasses a variety of extreme sports, hence the name, but the characters all have sound moral principles and even stronger values.
This is definitely a movie for your youth group, or a group of friends who want to see a decent movie that actually has no drugs, sex, violence, or profanity in it. This movie strays away from the social norm of today and is based on good hearted comedy and viewing that is safe for the WHOLE family.
I think many directors should take head of the minority who wants good wholesome movies that have an awesome plot as well. I mean is cursing really a requirement? Well in Extreme days it isn't and the movie is better for it.

I hated this movie with a vengeance. It felt like a non-stop PowerAde commercial with a couple of breaks to develop something that tried to resemble a plot. The action sequences were almost enjoyable, but the cinematography was bad. Technically speaking, the entire film had a grainy look and the soundtrack was not synchronized with the video (the actors words didn't match their mouth movements). Then we move on to the plot, or we would if it had one. Avoid this film. It is not good.

This movie went over so well in our youth group that we had to watch it several times within a two month period. It is still the most popular prize in our meetings.
The characters of the movie compliment each other so well that it is a believable portrayal of a road trip adventure. It has moments of supreme slapstick humor as well as hilarious dialog. If for nothing else, this movie should be purchased to see the Jackie Chan like fight seen (I say like because it's totally a spoof and AWESOME!).
It has several moral principles which are caught and not overtly MORAL - slap you in the face - make you feel like a dork because you can't measure up.
For the girls, it also has a cute love story and "hot" guys (says the girls in our youth group). For the boys, it has a "hot" girl (says the guys in our youth group) and "stupid humor," which they love. I can't say enough about this movie. Buy it now and watch it! Cuz its FABULOUS!

This isn't a movie, it's an extreme sports video filled with a lame story. There are some "OMG LOOK AT ME!!!!!11" surfing, skating, snowboarding and bmx'ing scenes, those aren't so bad. The plot makes no sense at all, it's like a teen movie with no beer, no drug, no hot girl and no party. That leave you the obligatory bad music, bad acting, fart fun and the cheap love thingie. Some kids will like this flick I guess and for the others, you should not approach it, even with a ten foot pole.

God, in the height of 'extreme sports' how can they have done this? This was such a wasted opportunity and to pull old stock footage from vintage freestyle films...come on! What were they thinking? I am speechless, other than I just hate seeing great subject matters and even better titles go down the drain!

I just watched this movie, and I have to say it is one of those "must see" movies. I'm a Christian, and I was pleased to see a movie with an all-Christian soundtrack. Also, I was pleased that this movie had a positive story, but wasn't too preachy. Anyone who's been a Christian for a while knows how it is usually.....it seems as if everything is an outreach attempt. This movie isn't tho. It's made so anyone (even those who aren't religious) will enjoy it.
I saw this movie w/ some of my friends this weekend and it was awesome! The only reason I left a point off of it and gave it a 9 was that they did a LOT of extreme sports...it kind of got monotonous after a while, but that doesn't mean that I thought the stunts were bad...they were SWEET, but also, it was kinda unlikely that they would ALL be THAT good at ALL of the sports that they did. They had good, not to mention FINE actors...and what I liked about this movie was that you could watch it w/o worrying about the language and it also had awesome music. But this movie was SOOO hilarious! "Would you like a falafel with that?"

I liked this movie: yes I was raised in the church, yes I was (and still am) a huge fan of the Christian alternative music genres, yes I do believe in God, and yes I'm not living with my parents anymore. That being said, growing up in the church, the usual activities and such offered to kids and teens were just plain pathetic. They lacked the element of cool that all kids thirst for and can't get enough of. So it's no surprise that a lot of kids and teens in the church and youth groups now still love this movie. It wasn't some Cheap barney with bible verses rip off or corny, poorly acted, "it could happen to you-Jesus loves everybody" films they push on kids all the time. It was funny, killer music, decent quality of film and film-making and extreme sports footage that kids will watch back to back to back until they can't stay awake anymore. I know the sports footage wasn't really them, but I never expected them to really do their own stunts. Can any actor really act and execute a darkslide with equal skill? This movie was a hope to teens and kids who thought Christian life and faith in God meant you had to be boring and uncool. Not stellar, but worth a weekend rental.

The plot of this one _is_ a little bit thin...but who cares?! It has some very funny scenes (playing spoons) and some great shots of extreme sports. The plot is basically just a way to get all of the sports in and the funny scenes are put in along the way. I watched this with a bunch of friends and we all laughed quite a bit. It is a good clean movie with only one slightly embarrassing scene that has a great punchline. ;)
This movie is awesome! It is hilarious, does have a plot (I think), Doesn't contain any stupid sexual humor or scenes, and has an awesome soundtrack that fits the feeling of the movie. They have: 1.paint ball warz 2.Xtreme shopping (previously mentioned) 3.Human made fireballs 4.Rock bands 5.Skateboarding 6.Surfing 7.snowboarding 8.Dirt Bikes 9.Pure Craziness 10.Good acting.....thats about all I can name, basically, it is a great movie that will gather an occult if shown at youth gatherings and youth camps. This is geared at teenagers, so it's not exactly a family movie, but it can still be shown to kids. My sister watched it and like it (she is 10), but since I have taught her craziness, thats probably why she likes it. So I guess that changes the sub-group this is aimed at, crazy teenagers with a good sense of humor and morals.
P.S There really is a plot, but it is still a lot of craziness. If you liked Napoleon Dynamite you will definitely like this 'action-packed-thriller-of-justice'!

So...I love this movie. If you have humor that includes sex and drugs and are mad that this doesn't include it...too bad. this movie is clean and so fun! Not to mention the cute guys in it.. Yeah, it's a little cheesy, but it's still so enjoyable. I hate watching movies where you feel awkward and this movie is anything, but that. The sports, the way they intertwine faith with all that fun stuff, is awesome! I hate it when movies get too preachy and seem like they're trying to convert you on the spot. I am a Christian and I hate that! This movie is just a testament of faith and I love it!

I really enjoyed this creative film.
Clean and full of action.
Yeah, the storyline is a little cheesy, but how many clean films like this are there anymore with this much fun action.
The voice-over fight scene is hilarious! Classic.
This film has all of the nonsense we enjoyed in our college years.
Freedom to roam without any boundaries. It reminded me of an old Kevin Costner Film called 'Fandango'.
It was a road trip movie as well.
I rank this movie up there with Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre.

One of the most common mistakes for low-budget films (and especially Christian-targeted movies) is to attempt to be something they're not: Hollywood material. If Extreme Days had attempted to follow this pattern it would have failed miserably, because it simply can't be taken seriously; but that's the best part. It doesn't take itself seriously either. They knew it sucked when they made it, and they embraced that; and the result is surprisingly funny. I've shown this movie to lots of friends, and while they initially shrug it off and look at me like they can't believe I'm actually recommending it, after watching it they agree that it was much better than they ever expected.

It was movie night at my friend's church when they showed the movie. I fell in love with it. It's one of my favorite movies. It inspired my friend and me to start planning a road trip of our own, after high school. We are already saving up. This is an awesome movie, and I would definitely recommend it.
