the end of a nice series
Vincentiu18 June 2014
last part of a nice series, it is a surprise for cast change. not very inspired for the lead characters, interesting for Anda Onessa and Horatiu Malaele performance, tired - dialogs from the first two parts are resurrected, nice for the atmosphere and good intentions. the message is the same, the same is the effort of actors to save from propaganda command the film. romance, humor, ethical message, a modern Hamlet and victory of new vision about village realities are basic ingredients. result - a not bad film, almost decent. one of pictures from Romania under Communism, it gives only pieces from a lost age of East.

the end of Viișoara story
Kirpianuscus2 December 2016
the shock of the change of actors for the lead roles is the most important mark. the story is the same, the subjects are not different. and the only surprise remains the performances of Anda Onesa and Horațiu Mălăele as way to propose something different by the other first parts. for the fans of Draga Olteanu Matei and Marin Moraru , the film could be a disappointment. but it is honest to recognize the work of Petre Sălcudeanu to propose a nuanced image of the life of Viișoara. sure, the irony remains the axis and the dialogues between Varvara and Todiraș - copy -paste from the first parts. but this is only a detail. because, like many films under the Ceaușescu regime, the actors are more than interpreters. each is a guide to the truth behind the propaganda message. and this is the only important thing.
