They went, but they left all the ingredients of an even half-decent movie behind

This was on TV, and I didn't think I had anything better to do for the ninety minutes. I now realize that counting spots in the ceiling would have been a more productive way to spend the time. I suppose this mainly tries to be funny. The problem is, the majority of the material wouldn't, well, shouldn't, make anyone over the age of five laugh. Juvenile jokes and gags, gross-out comedy(not strong, but still), etc. And it tends to be poorly delivered, at that. And with all of that(which, by itself, is fine, provided it's directed at children), this has sexual references(again, mild, nevertheless...) and... drugs. No, seriously, the bad guys(that we are immediately told are evil, through the use of a villain theme) work with narcotics. It's even seen on screen. This is pretty terribly done, with cinematography, editing and music being below average at worst, uninspired and dull at best. Hey, then again, they managed to put girls in bikinis, and then on film, that counts for something, right? In fact, this has eye candy for both genders. Women can look at the retarded discount Arnie, for example. Mr. Miyagi, what *happened*? The acting is pitiful. It's never remotely close to "good", and at times, it is simply the lines being read. The sensuality holds no nudity, and there is no harsh language. I recommend this to anyone who wants to look at beach stuff, and/or things specific to Maui. 1/10
