Sex & Nudity
-
- None. Maybe a kiss or two but nothing worth mentioning.
Violence & Gore
-
- The beginning scene you might say is gory. Many men are shot and killed especially since it takes place during the Battle of the Wilderness during the Civil War. A man is stabbed in the chest with a bayonet, and while trying to pull it out is shot, a part of a mans guts are hanging out, throughout the film are screams of agony from wounded men. The ending scene is also a bit gory, men's lifeless body are shown.
Profanity
-
- Mild profanities such as "Ass", "Hell", and "Damn".
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- There is only Casual pipe smoking at the beginning of the film, and assumed tobacco chewing at the end.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- The beginning of the Battle of the Wilderness is very intense and up-close. Another Intense and possibly frightening scene is at the end of the film. There is a fight between the group of soldiers, and at the end of the movie the solders lifeless body are shown for a time on the screen.
