Should the player select Tiny Kong and use her Pony-Tail Whirl to go over the hedge to access it despite being fenced off at night, the player will remain trapped within the boundaries and cannot get out without exiting the level.

The game's box art for Western releases and other forms of advertising depict all five playable Kongs riding together in a mine cart. In the actual game, all except for Lanky Kong and Tiny Kong ride in mine carts in their respective mini-games: Diddy Kong in the Jungle Japes level, Chunky Kong in the Fungi Forest level, and Donkey Kong in the Creepy Castle level.
"DK Rap"'s lyrics when referring to Donkey Kong state that he's "bigger, faster, and stronger too". Donkey Kong actually has the second-slowest moving speed behind Chunky out of all the five Kongs.
When visiting Cranky's Lab during the beginning of the adventure, he refers to Donkey Kong as his son, but most other games he refers to him as his grandson.
