Alan Cumming just revealed when The Traitors Season 3 arrives on Peacock. This gives fans something to look forward to this winter.
Cumming hosts the hit reality competition show based in Scotland, bringing an energetic and fashionable flair to his job.
The show revolves around three Traitors trying to steal a cash pot from the rest of the players. It’s an intense show with plenty of backstabbing.
The backstabbing makes The Traitors a great fit for people from reality TV, and the producers have leaned hard into that genre.
We get to enjoy 21 celebrities playing the game this winter, with most of them from reality TV.
There is also a WWE wrestler (Nikki Garcia) and the ex of singer Britney Spears (Sam Asghari).
When is The Traitors Season 3 start date?
Alan Cumming announced that the first episode of The Traitors 3 will drop on Thursday, January 9.

Peacock has announced the premiere date for The Traitors Season 3, which will feature a new lineup of familiar faces and is hosted again by the impossibly stylish and devastatingly witty Alan Cumming.
The Traitors Season 3 will premiere on January 9 and consists of 11 episodes plus a reunion episode.
Produced by Studio Lambert and set in a remote castle deep in the Scottish Highlands, five-time Emmy-nominated Alan Cumming plays host to 21 larger-than-life personalities who come together to compete in a series of missions with the objective of earning a cash prize of up to $250,000.
The catch? Hidden amongst the Faithful contestants are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves. Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors “murder” contestants one by one, but if the Faithful can banish all the Traitors before the end of the game, they’ll split the incredible prize.

Luca Guadagnino and Lionsgate announced that the “Call Me by Your Name” and “Queer” director is in final discussions to film a new version of Bret Eason Ellis’ dark horror novel “American Psycho,” nearly 25 years after the same company released Mary Harron’s satirical adaptation. In a key role that elevated his career, the 2000 film starred Christian Bale as yuppie investment banker-turned-serial killer Patrick Bateman.
It’s the kind of announcement destined to raise eyebrows. Guadagnino is in a career sweet spot after “Challengers” and “Queer” this year (and “After the Hunt” in post); he already has many projects in the works, including “Separate Rooms” with Josh O’Connor and a Thomas Mann adaptation in early development. So why is he choosing a remake — and for a film that doesn’t seem that long ago?
New versions of older films are not unusual. Even the word “remake” is tricky here — does that apply with adaptations?...

Sony had been planning to give director Chris Weitz’s horror film They Listen a theatrical release on August 25th of 2023, but in May of last year they decided to delay the release an entire year, pushing They Listen to August 30, 2024. By the time that date rolled around, the movie had been given the new title Afraid (or AfrAId)… and neither the new title nor the new release date worked out for the movie at the box office, because it only ended up making $9 million at the global box office. Just two weeks after its theatrical release, Afraid has now been given a digital release and is available for rent on Amazon’s Prime Video for $9.99. It can also be purchased for the price of $14.99.
Afraid‘s physical media release will follow on November 5th, when it comes to Blu-ray and DVD with the following extras: – 5 Deleted & Extended Scenes including...

In February, Ye (the former Kanye West) shocked the music industry when Vultures I, the first of a planned trilogy with Ty Dolla $ign as Y$, opened at Number One on the Billboard 200 chart. It was only a year ago when Ye’s rank antisemitism and adoration of white supremacists prompted an exodus of corporate supporters. Then, with Vultures I, he joined a wave of “canceled” men reestablishing ties with polite society. Critics stung by his unrelenting anti-Black stunts grudgingly admitted that Vultures was impressively produced. “Kids love Kanye,” declared...

Afraid Trailer(Photo Credit –YouTube)
We know how technology can be frightening sometimes, as depicted in the Black Mirror series on Netflix. Numerous other movies and shows have also showcased the dark side of technology. With the rise of AI usage, the potential for fear grows even more intense. This fear is precisely what is captured in the newly released Afraid Trailer. The film stars John Cho, Katherine Waterston, Havara Rose Liu, Lukita Maxwell, David Dastmalchian, and Keith Carradine.
In the Afraid trailer, Curtis brings home a new device called ‘Aia’, a digital assistant designed to help people, especially families, with everything from groceries to looking after the kids. While Aia sounds intriguing and helpful, the trailer hints at the terrifying consequences of an AI that goes to extreme lengths to assist its users.
The trailer shows Curtis and his family experiencing the dark side of Aia’s constant vigilance.

With countless reality competition shows out there, there’s something special about collecting all of the biggest villains from all of the popular franchises and putting them together in one place. This has been a proven formula for years, and The Traitors is no exception.
With a show like The Traitors, when you cast all well-known villains, you already know going in that backstabbing and double-crossing will ensue. Of course, the more drama and intrigue, the better. From the looks of it, Season 3 won’t disappoint.

Just when you thought Glen Powell couldn't be more booked and busy, along comes word that he's adding another potential project to his To Do list. He's now attached to star in a new version of Heaven Can Wait for Paramount.
As originally reported by Puck's What I'm Hearing… newsletter and since confirmed by the likes of The Hollywood Reporter, Powell will play a man who dies prematurely due to an antsy angel and returns to Earth in the body of a recently murdered millionaire.
Stephen Gaghan, who wrote Traffic and wrote/directed Syriana, is on board to script this one.
Originally a 1938 play by Harry Segall, Heaven Can Wait was first turned into a 1941 film by Alexander Hall called Here Comes Mr. Jordan. That outing featured a boxer given a second chance. More famously, it has since crossed the paths of Warren Beatty and Chris Rock, who brought us 2001 comedy Down To Earth,...

Exclusive: Brian Volk-Weiss’ Nacelle Company on Wednesday announced Billy Corgan’s Adventures in Carnyland, an eight-episode unscripted series that’s set to premiere on The CW app and cwtv.com on May 14th.
Directed by Volk-Weis and Ian Roumain, the series pulls back the curtain on how the legendary frontman of alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins takes on the world. When he isn’t churning out albums and touring the world with his band, Corgan works as a wrestling promoter through his storied National Wrestling Alliance, which he intends to restore to its former glory. As if being a rock star navigating the demanding politics of running both a band (Pumpkinworld) and a group of eccentric wrestlers (Carnyland) isn’t tricky enough, he’s also a father of two — and he’s planning a wedding to his longtime partner, Chloe Mendel. Can he possibly keep all these balls in the air?...

It’s a lean month for new original content on HBO/Max. November will see the return of two scripted series in Julia and Rap Sh!t, both of which are debuting their respective second seasons, but this month’s fresh highlight is likely to be Bookie, a new comedy series from the partnership of The Big Bang Theory creator Chuck Lorre, and Nick Bakay. The show tracks an LA bookie called Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco), whose business is in peril as California movies to legalize sports gambling.
Elsewhere in November, there quite a few interesting documentaries to keep an eye on, and two that jump out as “must watch”. The first is Albert Brooks: Defending My Life, which chronicles the aging comedian’s life and career. The second is the previously-released Little Richard: I Am Everything, which tries to peel back the whitewashed canon of Richard Penniman in a true...

There’s a change in Tuesday primetime programming on The CW. The network has pulled travelogue series Down To Earth with Zac Efron and Fantastic Friends after just two episodes. Both series premiered on July 18. Remaining episodes will be available on the CW app and cwtv.com.
The CW will air reruns of Penn & Teller: Fool Us (8-9 pm) and Whose Line Is It Anyway? (9-10 pm) in their place.

Seasons 1 and 2 of Down To Earth are still streaming on Netflix.

Down To Earth and Fantastic Friends are the latest acquired series to be pulled from the CW schedule, following the Australian surfing drama Barons, which was pulled after four episodes in June.
Down To Earth with Zac Efron, acquired from Netflix, experienced a 24% drop in viewers from the first episode to episode 2, and Fantastic Friends had low viewership from the start, dropping from 161K viewers in episode 1 to 158K in episode 2. Seasons 1 and 2 of Down To Earth are still streaming on Netflix.

The CW cut two of its most recent series from broadcast after only airing two episodes of each: “Down to Earth with Zac Efron” and James and Oliver Phelps’ “Fantastic Friends,” TheWrap has confirmed.
Originally, the two shows were supposed to debut on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. throughout the summer. They have since been replaced by encore episodes of “Penn and Teller: Fool Us” and back-to-back episodes of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Remaining episodes of both series are available to stream on the CW app and on cwtv.com.
Neither of the series emerged as big ratings wins for The CW. During its brief time on the air, “Down to Earth” averaged 0.269 million views and earned a 0.04 in the 18 to 49 demo, putting it behind summer series such as “The Chosen,” “Nancy Drew,” “Riverdale” and “Son of a Critch.” “Fantastic Friends” performed even worse, only seeing an average...

Exclusive: Ryan Reynolds and his company, Maximum Effort, have joined Nacelle’s Biker Mice from Mars animated series, a new iteration of the cult classic series. Nacelle plans to co-produce with Maximum Effort and Fubo.
“Some people know that I am a motorcycle enthusiast, so it was only natural for us to jump on board Biker Mice from Mars,” said Reynolds. “Maximum Effort and Fubo look forward to putting a new spin on this cult classic with our friends at Nacelle.”
The Biker Mice From Mars story: on the planet Mars, there existed a race of anthropomorphic mice who enjoyed motorsports and had a very similar culture and society to that of human beings. Eventually, they were all but wiped out by the Plutarkians, an alien race of obese, foul-smelling, worm-eating, fish-like humanoids who plunder other planets for their natural resources.
Three survivors: Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie, manage to find...

The CW on Tuesday went public with its Summer 2023 schedule, and it's as acquisition-heavy as expected.
Family Law Season 2 is kicking things off on Friday, July 7, leading into the series premiere of Moonshine.
Family Law had a decent audience on the network last year, so bringing it back was a no-brainer.
Monday will be reserved for the acquired comedy series, with Son of a Critch, Children Ruin Everything, Run the Burbs, and Bump airing on the night.
In anticipation of FBoy Island's premiere on the network with originals in the fall, The CW will air episodes of Fboy Island Season 2.
As previously reported, The CW has also ordered FGirl Island.
All things considered, the schedule is a bit uneventful, and that's the tricky part of having few original series.
The CW's actual test will be how viewers warm to the network's new strategy.
