I thought about another film from Japan - BULLET TRAIN, aka SUPER EXPRESS 109 - produced the same year, and speaking of a close topic. A lonely man in war against society, using a high speed and high technics train to achieve his goals. Here his purpose seems to fight against noise disturbance that the train provides, and he will stop at nothing to succeed. This is a social thriller emphasizing on the modern way of life. There is a sort of cat and mouse game between the "terrorist" and the police who is aware of the threat, after the discovery of a bomb close to the railway. Good suspense and, I repeat, very similar to the other feature I talked above.
