Europe has invaded the United States of America, and it's up to the ever-vigilant airplane force of the country to locate the enemy, sink its battleship (in a nicely handled bit of model work), and scout out their land forces, commanded by evil men in mustaches. Alec Francis orders Earle Williams to do both tasks. Can Williams survive to woo Francis' daughter, Edith Storey?
It's a fairly advanced movie for the period, with some good flying sequences. Apparently the plane's real pilot was Hap Arnold, who in 1949 would be appointed a five-star general and put in command of the United States Air Force.
