I love this game, best RPG ever!

Being the owner of a Sega CD, I was lucky enough to get a copy of Lunar: The Silver Star. After playing that, I wanted more but I didn't think Working Designs would make another Lunar game. I was very pleased to be wrong when I found out they would be releasing Lunar: Eternal Blue. They pushed the graphics more and have another strong musical score. The gameplay is basically the same as Lunar 1, except you can power up the magic power of your different party members. You have another great set of main characters, along with interesting secondary characters which lead the plot into numerous twists and turns. The game also have plenty of side quests to go on even after you've completed the game!

The story picks up 1000 years after the original game. You join Hiro, a young archaeologist-type explorer, and Ruby, a baby red dragon, searching an ancient ruin. After escaping the perils of the ruins with new found treasure, he learns of strange goings on occurring at the Blue Spire. Accompanied by Grandpa Gwyn, Hiro follows his curiosity and is led into a new set of exciting adventures. My favorite RPG character is Hiro, mainly because of his awesome Poe Sword attack. No spoilers here, you should definitely buy this game, it is worth the money. They released it for Playstation with updated animations and graphics. You won't be disappointed.

Best RPG of all time (IMHO)

Warning: Spoilers
I'm just going to be general as I don't like to say anything that may possibly be taken as a story spoiler. LUNAR ETERNAL BLUE is simply amazing; the Sega-Cd's finest game features an outstanding, complex story and wonderful, charming three-dimensional characters whose stories are fleshed out with the help of animated cinema sequences. I still play this game over and over because I can't get enough of it (even with all the things you can do, places you can go, and numerous plot twists it's still not enough). Play it once and you'll be humming the catchy battle music to yourself wherever you go. This game is coming out for Playstation soon, so if you have a Playstation GET THIS GAME!

Animation and a game in one, what could be better?

It's funny how I got the game, my dad and I were in Toys R us and we saw it there, then last summer my friend got it and we were playing it. I must say the story line is great and animation is of the anime style. I can simply say one thing about this game: Amazing! I got it and it was worth the $50 that I spent. It is a box set of 3 game CDs and one behind the scenes, a music CD, Lucia's pendant, and an omake box with a small map and standies. The begining is kind of slow, but it soon speeds up and gets you hooked! I suggest Lunar2 for playstation highly!
