I was given a link to this 50+ year old SportsScope film short. I graduated from FSU in 1974. My uncle is one of the gymnasts featured in this little film...Rafael Lecuona, from Cuba. I had heard him talk about his gymnastic friends for years, but had never seen them in action, albeit in the informal outdoor training shown in the film. It was great to see all of them obviously having a great time. I enjoyed reading some of the reviews here and was prompted to add mine as well. I can't see criticizing the short film for any reason. It was made in 1955. Expectations were obviously different compared to today, and the film is a reflection of those times. It's just fun to be able to look back and observe first hand how life was back in those days. My uncle, Rafael, now deceased, stayed fit right into his eighties. Great to see him and his fellow gymnasts in action.
