A writer (Ahmad Zahra) in a Hollywood apartment falls in the shower, thus breaking his neck and immediately dying. He is visited by a very bureaucrat Death (David Frye), complete with forms in triplicate in order to secure passage to "the beyond." The dead writer - stubborn, angry and confused - refuses to go with Death and, following an argument with the apparition, is left alone with his own corpse in the apartment.
