This film is incredible. Considering it was shut in half a week, with all first takes, I consider it a miracle. Besides the fact that it foresees so much of the political situation that would materialize many, many years later in Italy, down to some of the actual people involved, it is a daring film mainly from the creative point of view. Imagination is set free and supported with humility and innocence, its sense of humor is subtle, full of irony. This film went to the Venice Film Festival where critics loved it, but unfortunately it was the victim of some distribution disagreements and it never reached theaters. Director/lead actor of incredible talent. Hope to see more of his work.
