Turning models into artworks, porno style
lor_20 October 2010
A very corny theme in horror movies (see drive-in stuff by H.G. Lewis and from the AIP guys), turning artist models into works of art is given the XXX treatment in SEX GALLERY. Result: n.s.g.

Pussy Valentine, private eye, narrates this nonsense, about a missing-persons case. It's all an excuse for some interracial sex, and some actresses doing the "unmoving mannequin" bit, pretending to be petrified works of art, but jittering a bit. They're painted in monochromatic colors, like Shirley Eaton in GOLDFINGER.

Not surprisingly, the pirated soundtrack steals music cues by John Barry from THUNDERBALL, keeping that James Bond thing going subliminally. The movie is supposed to be a comedy but I couldn't find the laughs. Casting of some attractive women is its strong suit, with standard sex acts, except for a derringer inserted in a woman's vagina -ouch! This very minor programmer was resuscitated on Vol. 71 of Something Weird's Dragon Art Theater series.
