  Inspector Zenigata : You're too late. The entire media's all over it.

  [He scratches the phone to pretend he's losing the signal] 

• Inspector Zenigata : [looking at the badge]  So I barely survived thanks to this. I'll need to thank the police department.

• [Zenigata flatlines] 

  Hospital Doctor : Such a pity.

  IPCO Secretary : Zenigata-kun... I'll never forget your ardor. We will arrest Lupin!

  [the Inspector suddenly awakens] 

  Inspector Zenigata : Lupin?

  [He pulls on the doctor's face] 

  Inspector Zenigata : Lupin? Lupin?

  Hospital Doctor : I'm not Lupin!

  IPCO Secretary : Calm down, Zenigata-kun!

  Inspector Zenigata : Sir, where's Lupin?

  IPCO Secretary : He's still on the loose.

  [He suddenly freezes, steam coming out of his nose] 

  Hospital Doctor : He's unconscious.

• Inspector Zenigata : I don't care about the government! All I care about is stopping evil whenever I see it!

  [He takes a bite of a rice cake] 

  Vicky Flanagan : Inspector...

  [Zenigata earbuds in, turns on some rousing enka music and tries to rest. Suddenly, the room starts to shake. Zenigata opens his eyes and sees Vicky covering his ears and shouting. Zenigata, confused, takes the earbuds out, and a loud deafening noise causes him to cover his ears as well. The window burst open and Lupin stands at it with a basket of fruit] 

  Arsene Lupin III : Hey, Pops! You look well!

  Inspector Zenigata : Lupin!

  [Lupin throws him the fruit basket] 

  Arsene Lupin III : A get well present!

  [Zenigata brushes the basket aside in a rage] 

  Inspector Zenigata : Don't toy with me!

  [He dives after Lupin and almost falls out the window. Vicky grabs him] 

  Vicky Flanagan : Watch out!

  Arsene Lupin III : [flying away in the plane]  Hope you enjoy it!

  Inspector Zenigata : Trying to escape, are you? Come back here!

  [Lupin is too far gone. Zenigata pounds the window sill in anger] 

  Inspector Zenigata : Damn it, damn it, damn it!

  [Vicky finds the card Lupin left with the basket and sees that it shows where the Tarantula gang is] 

  Vicky Flanagan : Inspector!
