Not worth much commenting, two all-time overrated pornographers teamed up to help drag Adult Entertainment down to what would become, decades later, its predominantly low-brow status - a victory for proponents of all-sex porn. Ineptly produced, it also clearly forecasts and demonstrates the triumph of amateurism in the age of streaming.
Buttman takes a screenplay credit but there is no dialogue. Instead it's nearly two hours of cinema verite technique -documentary style in the sense of porn being a document of sex, analogous to bootleg concert videos of the Grateful Dead amateurishly documenting their performances.
Buttman has added a very artificial voice-over to provide a minimal bit of story, as bicurious Lynn Ray ponders whether she can have a foursome with dance instructor Karen Summer and studs, which later is achieved. Most of the feature's sex is in public, either threesomes in the weight room, or lesbian sex in the sauna. His camera likes to aim at the ladies' rear ends, as usual for Stagliano, and there's even a Lynn dance and striptease for the camera straight outta co-director Bruce Seven's playbook. Not a hit of S&m for Bruce this time, but the exercise emphasis shows plenty of Jane Fonda influence in the costuming and nostalgic (now) leg warmers. Why some girls exercise in their high heels is sheer fetishism.
Casting emphasizes trim and fit and thin girls, with only Pam Jennings in the big-bust category, an anomaly that co-star Cara Lott notices as she feels Pam up while exercising. As an historical relic, it may be worshiped by gonzo fanatics but is otherwise disposable porn.
