- Caspar killed Professor Grombek. Little blood is seen on the side of his face.
- Caspar tells Paula how much he really loved Gretchen as he looks around her corpse display. He describes living tissue capturing a life of a moment. He opens her breast (as it opens like a door) and her heart is inside. He removes the mask of her face, but Paula grabs him. He hits her which makes her get knocked out.

- Hein chases Paula down through the library with books falling off as his hand has a scalp to cut her through the shelves.
