Marvel has a strict no-spoiler rule, and Charlie Cox knows it too well. When the actor was cast as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it kicked off a two-year war of keeping his lips sealed. Imagine trying not to blurt that out — it was, in Cox’s own words, a “nightmare.”

In an interview with Disney’s D23 Magazine, Cox talked about the difficulties of making the cameo. “When they told me I was going to be in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it was a two-year nightmare trying to keep that from everyone.”

Charlie Cox even adjusted how he played Daredevil to keep fans from guessing. He tweaked his performance just enough to make his brief scene appear distinct from his previous portrayal and avoid tipping off die-hard fans who can spot even the tiniest hint.

Universal Pictures has revealed the new trailer for the horror thriller The Woman in the Yard, opening in theaters on March 28. The film has been rated PG-13 for terror, some violent content/bloody images, suicide-related content, and brief strong language.

In the movie, a lone, spectral woman shrouded entirely in black appears on a family’s front lawn without explanation and warns them “Today’s the day.” Where did she come from? What does she want? When will she leave? Only The Woman in the Yard knows.

From Blumhouse, the most successful global brand in horror, comes a new original chiller starring BAFTA and SAG nominee Danielle Deadwyler as Ramona, a woman crippled by grief after she survives a car accident that takes her husband.

Seriously injured, Ramona now must care for their 14-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter, alone in her rural farmhouse. Then one day the woman takes form in their yard.

Having successfully smuggled a weekly dose of therapy into three seasons of football sitcom Ted Lasso, Apple cut out the middle man with the first season of Shrinking. Aiming for that same _Lasso_ian sweet spot between puerility and poignance, the show introduced us to psychotherapist Jimmy Laird (Segel). Still grieving the loss of his wife, Jimmy decides to go rogue with his patients, telling them what he really thinks — much to the chagrin of colleagues Gaby (Jessica Williams) and Paul (Harrison Ford).

In many ways, Shrinking’s first outing replicated the experience of therapy-going pretty accurately — if not so much in content, then certainly at least in form. The early throes were a little tense, a little quick to overcompensate for trauma-dumping with uneasy humour, and a little slow to really open up and begin letting moments of sincerity and vulnerability pierce its sardonic armour.

In stunning and sad news, Gavin Creel, one of Broadway’s most popular and acclaimed leading men, died in Manhattan today just two months after being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of sarcoma. He was 48.

His death was confirmed by his partner Alex Temple Ward. Creel had undergone treatment at New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering for metastatic melanotic peripheral nerve sheath sarcoma after being diagnosed in July. After his treatment at the hospital, he transitioned to hospice care at his home.

One of Broadway’s top musical theater artists, Creel made his Broadway debut in 2002 in a lead role of Thoroughly Modern Millie, earning a Tony Award nomination, a feat he’d repeat seven years later in what would become a signature performance as Claude in the 2009 Broadway revival of Hair.

As rumors and talk consume the internet regarding the upcoming season of Big Brother, fans are looking for any hint they can find regarding the details of season 25. One specific clue about the milestone season’s potential theme may have been found on Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves' Instagram page. Julie regularly posts about the show; however, something unique was spotted in one of her recent photos.

Each summer, the Big Brother house is transformed to match a brand-new season theme. Every decoration that is found inside the famous house is uniquely made to portray the theme. In addition to the interior and decor of the house, many of the competitions will also represent the season’s theme as well. The theme is typically not announced until the Big Brother season premiere; however, in the past, photos of the house have been released in the days leading up to it.

Michael Stipe, Chvrches, and Coldplay are just a few of over 60 artists who’ve contributed to the 2023 iteration of EarthPercent’s annual Earth Day compilation album. Proceeds will benefit the Brian Eno-founded charity’s grant giving program, which directly benefits organizations fighting the ongoing climate crisis.

Stipe — a frequent eco-advocate — contributes the track “Give Me a Hand,” a moody art-pop number featuring guest vocals from folk singer and disability advocate Gaelynn Lea. Meanwhile, Chvrches reunite with their pal Robert Smith of The Cure for a rendition of their song “How Not to Drown,” recorded live at the Brixton Academy. We have Letterboxd lists detailing all 4,400+ films that received at least one vote and another expanding the directors poll, spreadsheets calculating every entry, and now a list ranking how many votes individual directors received for their films.

Tabulated by Genjuro, the list of 35 directors, with two pairs, puts Alfred Hitchcock back on top, while Chantal Akerman is at number two. New dating show Perfect Match features alums from Netflix’s unscripted series looking for love and competing against their fellow singles in a tropical paradise. Yuval Delshad’s debut centres on a a family of Iranian immigrants.

Fresh from its Toronto world premiere and still unreleased at home, Yuval Delshad’s debut feature, Baba Joon beat all the competition in sight to be crowned Israel’s best film of the year at the annual Israeli Film Academy Awards ceremony.

As such, it will represent Israel for next year’s Foreign Language Oscars.

Delshad’s Farsi-spoken drama portraying the conflicts inside a family of Iranian immigrants living off a turkey farm in the south of Israel picked up five Ophir awards, including best film, best music, best cinematography, production design and casting.
