Sensitively directed

A beautiful film very which deals with the subjects of death and child abuse in a very sensitive manner. It protrays a very real insight into the lives of lonely people. Wonderful acting from the three main leads. Fabulous Scotish scenery!

Excellent Character development
blade-2119 December 1999
This movie may not become popular but I found it a highly competent film with excellent character development. My attitude to the characters changed as the film went along and and I began to sympathise and understand the "outrageous" behaviour of Charleen as the extent of her abuse became apparent.

I sincerely hope that we will see more of Christine Tremarco who put in an excellent performance in the lead role. Also, Sheila Hancocks veteran performance was first class - the best of an excellent bunch!!
