An Icelandic Comedy
jeremy-3324 February 1999
A comedy about two guys (Þór og Danni) from the city that go to the country to work pretending to be used to the country life. Then soon it appears that they aren't as used to it as they say. It's an extremely funny film and is well worth seeing.

A true masterpiece

Dalalíf is simply one of the greatest comedy I've ever seen.

Period.

The cast is a dream team, the script is ridiculously fun and the ost is iconic.

A timeless classic.

Þór og Danni on a farm
Kagegroo25 March 2006
this movie is the second in line first one Nýtt líf is a really good comedy, this one uses pretty much the same formula but instead of working in a fish factory they are on a farm, still pretty funny and our heroes are fresh as ever in the art of doing as little as possible for as much money as possible. Made in Iceland in the year 1984 with a tight budget this movie survived the test of time pretty well, not the classic the first movie is but as a follow up and a few laughters this one is up to it. Sigurður Sigurjónsson is one of Iceland's best comedy actors and show his strength in his part here and this is one of his first part in a comedy. Freshly released on DVD in Iceland i recommend a copy for fans of wacky comedy's.
