Angels

The plot of this film is a loose adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol with the lead role of Caesar played by Peter North. The plot is a crime drama with a story quite versatile and interesting, but with a happy ending.

It has an entertaining plot in its own right that is worth viewing - a drama in which the sex scenes are actually taking place. With all the sex and the pretty ladies involved, the fast forward button is rarely needed, if at all.

Although Peter North plays the lead, Savannah with her incredible, captivating beauty is the true star and Peter is the lucky one who beds her for a well shot and erotic finish - a couple that had deserved at least one more scene.

As a bonus for fans: the bar and the dance floor are the same as in A Portrait of Christy and the bedroom is the same (or a very similar one) Peter North is using in Laying the Ghost. Recommendation for fans of the genre, the performers or porn flicks with a good plot. My verdict: eight revolvers (out of ten possible).

John Leslie's "Angels", one of the auteur's worth watching films for VCA, stars Peter North as a man on the edge, who decides to kill himself. Guardian angel Tom Byron (sound familiar?) comes to show him the error of his ways and in the process shows our hero as well as us many interesting and erotic sexual encounters. Don't watch this movie solely for the sex, though, as it is an example of good early 90's porn at its finest, with a searing combination of story, character development, and sex. Also don't see this movie solely for Savannah, as she doesn't appear until the last fifteen minutes of the film. Still, highly recommended for Leslie fans or fans of adult film in general. 8/10
