a beautiful film
pvsavla6 March 2013
This movie was recommended by a film veteran and it met all the expectations of viewing it, as it had a simple story with three good songs. The story line consists of succession to a throne of two young men, interwoven with a love story of a tribal girl (played by Rajshree), with the legitimate heir (Biswajeet) of the throne. This film is shot in a Jaipur palace, with beautiful outdoor locations of the tribal clan, which provided beautiful landscape for the songs, the best song being "Man mora nache", where Rajshree has danced very well, amidst her community. Music of this picture was given by Hemant Kumar, lyrics by Kaifi Azmi and flawlessly directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Overall a typical movie of 1965, with background plot of a kingdom and tribal people, which is worth watching.
