WAITING FOR CAROLINE is a beautiful Canadian film. The story centers mainly on Caroline (Alexandra Stewart) who has two handsome boyfriends and can't decide (or doesn't want to decide) with which one she wants to be serious with. Though the characters and situations are a bit aloof and it's sometimes difficult to attach any feelings to the main characters, the gorgeous cinematography, the timeless locations and the overall excellent production qualities are truly arresting and easily make up for the film's weaknesses. The film is so stunning that it's like being swept away to another time and place. It's one of the best looking films I've ever seen.
