Excellent french comedy with Darry Cowl
pnapo24 September 2003
This movie is a good french comedy which began Darry Cowl career. Darry Cowl did a great show in this burlesque comedy. You must see the French version for his stuttering accent. my note: 9/10

A funny story

This film is based on a novel of René Fallet (1927-1983) "Le Triporteur" which tells the story of a great soccer fan who worked as delivery man for the baker of his village.Antoine Peyralout decide to go to Nice where his local soccer team will play the Cup final (in the book he goes to Paris). On his journey with the tricycle he lives a lot of adventures. The main character is played by the French comedian, Darry Cowl: his first participation in film was in 1955 in the film "Les Duraton" of the director André Berthomieu. And then comes Le Triporteur when the French audience adopts Darry Cowl with his strange way of speaking (stuttering) and moving. I enjoyed very much this funny comedy. The performance of Darry Cowl was excellent.
