Need to catch up? Check out the previous Homeland recap here.
Season 6 of Homeland wrapped up with Sunday’s finale… but if you’re looking for a happy ending, you’ve come to the wrong place.
Dar Adal walks through that favorite restaurant of his and back to the meat locker, where he finds a U.S. senator tied up in his underwear. Dar says this is “a reprimand” for keeping him out of the loop. Then a lackey comes in to douse the senator with a bucket of water. Dar grills him about Quinn and the “Toxic Soldier” sock-puppet...

"After everything we've seen, there isn't much that rattles either of us anymore," Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) says toward the start of the new "Conjuring 2" trailer. "But this one? This one still haunts me."
This one is the story of "England's Amityville," following a family in North London dealing with a possessed little girl who apparently goes full Linda Blair in a seriously haunted house. In the trailer, Lorraine tells her husband Ed (Patrick Wilson) that she had a premonition of his death, saying the family is just a pawn and "something inhuman wants to kill you." Thanks for the tip!
This is all happening around Christmas, which is a particularly scary time for crosses to turn themselves upside-down on the wall. While a haunting version of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" plays, we see these words on screen: "Discover the truth behind the event that shocked the world."

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.
Starting in January, "Sesame Street" is moving to HBO for first-run episodes. How will a family friendly show like that fit in on a network like HBO? "Jimmy Kimmel Live" decided to do a test run Tuesday night, taking dialogue from "Game of Thrones" (the Hound chicken scene!) and setting it to a scene with Muppets. Grover looks a little too natural dropping those f-bombs. Just saying. It's probably not his first time.
Here's a returning favorite: "Santa's Lap or Flu Shot?" Jimmy Kimmel -- always fond of sad kid stories -- showed photos of crying children and the audience had to guess whether the child was on Santa's...

There are some things that not even Thor's muscles can accomplish.
Chris Hemsworth is hosting Saturday Night Live this week. While he's clearly got the action and comedy genres down pat, he may need a refresher on romance.
In promos for the upcoming episode, SNL cast member Kate McKinnon asks Hemsworth, 31, to reenact the famous Dirty Dancing lift. It does not go well for McKinnon.
She also challenges People's reigning Sexiest Man Alive to an arm-wrestling match, which is actually just her excuse to get her hands on him – it's "a classic McKinnon trick." Thanks for the tip, girl.

I thought about it. Then I thought about it again. Turns out I'm not exaggerating or brainwashed (like Zingbot, our precious gyrating robot pal who visited the houseguests this week) regarding this week's episode. It really was fantastic, from the stupid Team America challenge to the Pov game to the climactic final moment. Best episode of the season? Could be. Here are five reasons why. 1. Donny is innocent but loves being scary as hell. For whatever reason, Donny has ended up outside the game's major alliance and there doesn't seem to be much of a way in. Our poor bearded chickadee. Sigh. But you have to give Donny "props" (quoth Zingbot) for using one of the few tools left in his arsenal: manipulation of the most impressionable person in the house, Zach. The little speech Donny gave Zach that planted necessary paranoia in his head about getting backdoored? Flawless. And also terrifying.

Spectacularly mediocre fantasy junk food, perfectly inoffensive for youngsters but too featherweight for adult genre fans. I’m “biast” (pro): nothing
I’m “biast” (con): was very meh on the first film

Here I count one oceangoing monster that’s not all that scary and surprisingly easily defeated, and one other mythical creature of the waves that’s actually rather nice. So we have, erm, an “environment of creatures,” then? The spectacularly mediocre Percy Jackson universe returns — yes, it’s now officially a franchise — with a tale of halfblood son-of-Poseidon Percy (Logan Lerman [The Three Musketeers], who is better than this) and his pals, not-Ron Weasley (Brandon T. In an interview with The Big Issue, "Captain America: The First Avenger" star Hayley Atwell opened up a bit more about her character's role in the sequel, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," and her starring turn in the Peggy Carter-centric Marvel One-Shot short film.
Since Atwell's "Winter Soldier" scenes are all flashbacks, the actress was surprised to learn that Robert Redford is among the modern day cast. As The Big Issue found out, Atwell's a bit of a Robert Redford fan.
"Is Robert Redford in it? Really?" she asked. "Well, there you go, that shows how much I know! But now you have told me, and because I love him, I am going to call up the Marvel family, find out when he is filming, then I'll go down to the set to stalk him. That is my privilege! Thanks for the tip."

Good morning!
Congratulations to Delaware for being awesome!
I hope it's not too spoilery for you, but apparently in the first new episode of Pretty Little Liars, titled "A is for A-l-i-v-e," lEmily "starts to make plans for life after high school." Will Paige be involved?
Model Cara Delevingne posted this pic of her pecking Sienna Miller at the Met Ball on her Instagram. They must be close friends!
Last night on Jeopardy's College Championships, Alex Trebek read the clue "Sister act" and played a clip from the song "Closer." Unfortunately the three contestants had no idea it was Tegan and Sara. Or "Taygan and Sara" as Alex pronounced it. Thanks for the tip Rachel!
Shonda Rhimes said it's possible Jasika Nicole could return to Scandal at some point. Yay!

Rush Limbaugh took some time on International Women’s Day to explain to us all why it’s awesome that he uses the term “feminazi.” Someday let’s discuss the term “sex tourism,” Rush.
A Fox affiliate in Connecticut chose some amazing b-roll footage for Women’s Day. The station has since apologized for the “mistake.”
Remember all those Republicans who opposed the Violence Against Women Act? Some of them are now taking credit for it.
If you recall, last week Zerlina Maxwell held her own on Sean Hannity’s show, attempting to make several points that neither her host nor her fellow guess was interested in listening to or understanding. Maxwell tried to make several reasonable points:...

Good morning! I hope you had a nice Labor Day.
The Bold and the Beautiful producer Brad Bell says we'll definitely see more of Karen and Dani, it just depends on Joanna Johnson's schedule over at Emily Owens. M.D.. He told TVGuide:
Joanna will definitely be back, if only for a day or two here and there. And once her schedule backs off a bit I want her back for something meaty. We may not see Karen for the time being but we'll play her as if she's still around and that she and Dani are still a happy couple. [Laughs] I'm not going to have Dani go off and seduce one of our guys.
Thank You Brad Bell.
Here's a great drinking game for you: Take a shot every time the word "Drama" is said on The Real L Word.

While it’s not really a brand new still, thanks to one awesome TAer, we have a new still of Melanie and Jared in The Host, that we haven’t seen before. This still shows Saoirse Ronan and Max Irons as Melanie (or Wanderer?) and Jared outside in a very light-hearted moment. Check out the still below:
Exclusive footage of Stephenie Meyer’s The Host (Movie) broke at Comic Con and we’re sharing an exclusive image of Saoirse Ronan and Max Irons!
Go check out this still full size at AMC here.
Thanks for the tip Swans!
They look so happy in this picture, I’m trying to picture where in the story this is. They look so happy from the water, and just thoroughly enjoying each other’s company.
What do you think of this still from The Host?...

Another promotional poster has surfaced for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 featuring Bella (Kristen Stewart), Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy), and Edward (Robert Pattinson). Now the pose of the little Cullen family is a very sweet one all by itself, but it also gave a small little reveal away. On Bella, we can see that she is wearing the Cullen Crest as well now. It appears that Bella is wearing a very similar wrist-cuff to the one that we’ve admired on Edward over the last four movies. Check it all out below:
See the picture full size in our Gallery Here!
I like it! It just seems to go with the new Bella, and yet at the same time – the way she’s always been with Edward too.
What do you think of this new promotional poster? Are you glad to see Bella wearing the Cullen Crest? Did you think she would wear a similar one to Edward, or one more like a necklace, such as Alice and Rosalie?
Thanks for the tip Noor!

The A.V. Club is back with their typical in-depth analysis, this time at Cosmopolis, choosing to look more into what the story means in our current culture, and what it will mean to all the Robert Pattinson fans out there who will see the movie, and have read the book. They also go on to talk about how both David Cronenberg and Rob both needed each other in this movie, and both seemed to get exactly what they needed. The A.V. Club even goes on to say Rob has within him “the stuff of a real actor”. Check out more below:
Still, somewhere in the middle of this agreeable professional trade-off, a whole incidental target demographic of #TeamEdward true believers in their homespun fan shirts may be taking away lessons about large-scale market economics, the historical allure of celebrity assassination, and just what how much a painting by abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko is really worth. At the very least, they stand to be totally validated in their hope that their grey-eyed idol has within him the stuff of a real actor.

Pretty high praise coming from the A.V. Club!

Good morning, Brewbies! Trish Bendix is on a much-deserved vacation so I'll be Brew-ing it up for you this week.
Amber Heard is featured in the women's fall fashion issue of T: The New York Times Style Magazine. In addition to looking fierce, Heard talked about her upcoming role in Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills, saying her character is "a punch-throwing, gun-shooting, crown-wearing, sash-bearing, beauty-pageant Barbie with a twist." I hope the twist is that she's a raging homosexual!

Starz is getting ready for the Spartacus: Vengeance DVD release by raining down box-set extras on the internet, like this one where Lucy Lawless walks us through the merciless, graphic way everyone on the show gets slaughtered all the time. (Warning: This two-minute clip boasts more blood than an entire season of True Blood.)

Last week as part of the promotion for his newest movie, Cosmopolis, Robert Pattinson had the chance to ring the official opening bell for the New York Stock Exchange, along with his director, David Cronenberg. The two showed up at the NYSE on August 14th, all suited up, and considering the material of the movie, it was quite the fitting way to start the business day! Check out the video and all of the pictures below:
Go see all of the pictures at Robert Pattinson News here and be sure to check into Cosmopolis on GetGlue this weekend to get the limited edition sticker featuring Rob here!
Thanks for the tip Noor!
I love that they had these two ring the NYSE to start the day in trading. I can’t think of a better way to promote a movie like Cosmopolis! Rob really looks the part of trader and businessman in his suit.
What do you think of Rob’s NYSE promotion?...

In a new interview with Am New York, Kellan Lutz speaks up about his personal style as he promotes his new line, Abbot + Main. In addition to all the style talk, Kellan also mentions that they filmed Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 and 2 so long ago, he doesn’t even remember what exactly happens in Part 2, but that he’s very excited to watch it with fans at the big Premiere. Check out more below:
Of your “Twilight” co-stars, whose style do you admire?
I think Ashley Green has great style. When she gets dressed up for a premiere or red-carpet event, she always looks stunning. Or, if she’s running around L.A., she has a great laid-back look in jeans and a T-shirt. No matter what, she stays true to who she is and what she wears is relatable.
What can you tell us about the final “Twilight” film releasing in November?
I’m just as excited to see it as you are. We shot it so long ago I forget exactly what is to come, but there will be a few really special moments that the fans will really enjoy. I can’t wait to watch it with them at the premiere.

Maggie Grace (Irina in Breaking Dawn) is featured quite prominently in the brand new trailer for Taken 2. Maggie plays Kim the daughter of Bryan Mills (as played by Liam Neeson). This time around Bryan and his wife are kidnapped by family of the kidnapper who had taken Kim in the first movie. You’ll be able to catch Taken 2 in theatres this October 5th. Check out the new trailer below:
“Taken 2″ – Official Trailer
In Istanbul, retired CIA operative Bryan Mills and his wife are taken hostage by the father of a kidnapper Mills killed while rescuing his daughter.
You can see more on the movie at IMDb.
Thanks for the tip Noor!
Honestly I’ve never see the first movie, Taken. Maggie looks gorgeous and does such a great job, but the trailers alone scare the daylights out of me!
Will you plan to see Taken 2? Did you see Taken?...

We just saw the brand new character posters of Edward and Bella both individually and together from Breaking Dawn – Part 2, now we also have some new images of the Cullen family, which are actually different poses from those already released, plus new promotional posters fro Jacob Black! In addition, we have all of the new vampire covens without the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 logo tags. Check out the new promotional posters below:
See all of the new posters in our gallery full size, including the new vampire covens without the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 logo tags Here.

I like seeing more than one pose for the Cullen family, it just seems to bring out more of their characters for some of them. I especially like the alternate pose for Emmett, it just seems more Emmett-like!

Broadway World has a rather interesting interview with Paul Becker, the man behind all of the choreography in Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Part 2. Here Paul talks about getting the job, working with Bill Condon, and even getting a cameo appearance in the film. Read more below:
PC: You appear at the memorable wedding in Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1, do you not?
Pb: [Laughs.] Yes. Actually, it was really funny – as you know, Bill Condon, the director, wrote Chicago and so he brought me in to choreograph Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Part 2. And, so, I showed up on set and we were all having a good time, and, then, when I showed up on set for the last day of filming, where we were doing the big wedding scene, and I go into my trailer and I find there is a suit there. So, I say to the Ad, “Why is there a suit in there?” and, she says, “Bill Condon wants you to get into wardrobe.” And, I say, “What?! What do you mean ‘wardrobe’?!” And, so I put on the suit and I go onset and Bill is there and he puts his arm around me and says, “I got you in Chicago and now I’m gonna put you in this one.” And, so, he put me in the scene.
PC: What a great story.
Pb: Yeah, it was really fun. It was nice of him to do that.
PC: How did you get involved with Bill on Twilight in the first place? Was it just the Chicago connection?
Pb: I’m not sure – we never actually met on Chicago, but my girlfriend Sharon Leal was in Dreamgirls that he directed so she had known him. I had never met him before Twilight, though. One of the producers called me – I just got a random phone call one day and someone said, “Bill Condon saw your material and he would like to meet with you.” And, so, I was actually filming the TV series Hellcats at the time, in Vancouver, so I just went over to the Twilight set and I could not believe how hi-security it was – I mean, you could not get on the set!

A reporter from His Golden Eyes had the chance to attend the ‘Latinos Laugh Out Loud’ event in La where they featured the premiere of Sweet Mary and Jane. Actress Marisa Quinn, who will be playing Huilen in Breaking Dawn – Part 2 was in attendance, and spoke about jumping into the Twilight Saga movies at the end, her character Huilen, and what she thinks is in store for Twilighters at Comic Con. Read more below:
Hge: Coming into the Twilight Saga, there are people that have been in it since the beginning and people just coming into it. What was it like coming into the series so close to the very end?
Marisa: First of all it was a complete and utter shock. Twilight had become so huge that it was not even possible to get a role in that film as an actor. Then it just came out of nowhere. It fell into my lap and as a fan it was crazy. I could not believe I was going to be the face of a character that I had imaged so often in my head.
Hge: You are playing Huilen. What was it like playing a character that has such a pivotal role?
Marisa: It was really important to speak to J.D. (Pardo who plays Nahuel). He was the first person I met when I got to the set and we just talked about the experience the must have had. Were they scared? Were they proud and warriors? Were they ready to fight? What did it mean to them to make this journey so far for people they had never even met before? It was incredible.
Hge: In a couple weeks we have Comic Con. Are we going to see you there?
Marisa: Rumors are swirling that something big is going to go down. Who knows that it will be, but I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be lucky enough to be a part of it. My bet is if you have a ticket your mind will be blown. I mean it’s the final movie and they’d be crazy not to pull out all the stops.

Previously we posted a video of Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone rehearsing some dance floor moves for the big wedding reception scene in Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Now Breaking Dawn choreographer, Paul Becker, has released another video, this one featuring Christian camargo (Elezar) and Mia Maestro (Carmen) as they practice their dance moves for Edward and Bella’s big day. Check out the video below:
I absolutely love how much work really went into the wedding reception when realistically it was such a tiny part of the film, yet a scene that was truly awesome all the same. It looks like Mia and Christian had quite a bit a fun with the dance rehearsal too! I’d love to have to practice this kind of thing before it’s filmed.
What did you think of the dance rehearsal video with Mia and Christian?
Thanks for the tip Tea!

Moviefone has put together a great list of the best movies of 2012 that have come out so far. Included on this list is Kristen Stewart’s Snow White and The Huntsman. check out more below:
23. ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’
What’s It About? In a mini-twist on the classic “Snow White” fairy tale, the fairest of them all is pursued by the evil Queen, who’s possessed by jealousy over the young woman’s beauty.
Why We Love It: Besides the beautiful cinematography (which it’s worth seeing for alone), it was a treat to watch Kristen Stewart in a non-”Twilight” role. Also, Charlize Theron kills it as the diabolical queen, who’s set on conquering Snow White.
See the full list at Moviefone here.
Thanks for the tip Noor!
We all know Breaking Dawn – Part 2 will be on this list by the end of the year!

Jack Morrissey is well known in the twitter world for answering fan questions regarding both Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Part 2. Jack is of course, Breaking Dawn director, Bill Condon’s, partner – and therefore privy to some pretty inside information. Once again, Jack was back answering questions, this time in reaction to the teaser trailer and some more specifics for Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Read more below:
Q: In the posters we see Edward with a kinda classic look like in the 1st 2 films. Will he wear clothes like this in BD2?
Jack: Yes, everything you’ve seen on the EW covers and posters are actual costumes seen in the film.
Q: Why is BD2 coming out over a year after it was filmed and BD1 came out in theaters?
Jack: There are over Two Thousand visual effects shots that need to be finished.
Q: If we don’t get the full trailer ’til fall, do we still get scenes at Comic Con anyway?
Jack: You’ll see stuff you haven’t seen yet inside Hall H for the last Twilight panel at Sdcc. Better get down there!
Q: By the teaser, there will be a lot of the Volturi, right?
Jack: Yep, a whole field full of ‘em. “They even brought the wives.” P.S. So much Aro and Jane for you to look forward to.
Q: Does Nessie get a Cullen Crest necklace?
Jack: Not quite – she wears another accessory of significance.
Q: Will we see more of baby Nessie with Edward and Bella or will it be everything with Mackenzie?
Jack: Both, and also other growth between. Half-human/half-vampire kids – they grow up so fast!
Q: When in the movie do we first get to see Renesmee?
Jack: Just as soon as her vampire Mom gets to see her.
Q: Bella and Edward will go to Alaska to find Denali’s clan contrary to the book where they wait for everybody?
Jack: Correct. It’s in the teaser trailer.
Go check out all of the Q&A over at Team Jack here.

Robert Pattinson has a great new interview with The Guardian, and from the sound of it, he’s still the same guy he was when he came into the Twilight Saga. Here we have Rob talking about his current career and what it’s like to be nervous about the reactions to Cosmopolis, and how he really hates who ever came up with the nickname of RPattz. Read it all below:
“I don’t really know how accepted I am,” says Robert Pattinson as he sips on an enormous paper cup of Coke. “Nothing ever matters to me apart from the people with negative opinions. That’s literally it. That always drives me on to the next thing. It’s funny, you just focus on them and then the next movie. That’s the only thing you’re thinking about when it comes out.”
For someone with the world at his feet – he has the Twilight franchise behind him and David Cronenberg’s icy drama Cosmopolis as his next release – Pattinson gives a good impression of a man plagued with self-doubt. “I’ve never really taken myself seriously as an actor,” he says, fresh off a plane from Germany, where, he notes by the by, everybody seems to hate him.
“It is surprising the amount of people who think I’m going to be really dumb,” he says. “I think they think anyone who has done teen movies is just an idiot. I don’t know, maybe I am. Some of the best actors, if you talk to them, they’re not the smartest people in the world.”
…..
“When I got this part,” he says, adjusting his cap, “every single article that came out, was, ‘R-Patz’s struggle for credibility!’; I don’t understand who invented that thing, ‘R-Patz’, I want to strangle them. But once you’ve made that step, everything afterwards is not like, ‘R-Patz’s continuing struggle for credibility!’ You’ve got to come up with something else, so it gets a little bit easier. I was always shit at auditions. Since Twilight, I’ve done two. One of them was for a job I’m doing now and it was really hard. Two really, really long auditions that everybody was going up for. I was so happy afterwards when I got it. And it was purely because of Cosmopolis that I was thinking, ‘You can go and do this as an actor, rather than just as the guy from Twilight, because you’ve got some foreign value now.’”

I heard a man from the tax office on the radio yesterday, apologising to people who are having trouble getting through on the phone. It was Moneybox, which comes on while I am making lunch and waiting for the News Quiz, and is more fun and interesting than the Archers anyway.
It was a typical tale of frustration. Phone charges and fines mounting up, impossible to speak to anyone on the other end. It would be even more annoying if you were calling on the Vodafone network, I suppose. I began to feel a bit sorry for Hmrc man. My sympathy grew when the interviewer asked him something like:
"Aren't the problems because budget cuts meant you had to fire lots of staff?"
I could visualise the rictus grin, as...

An online effort is underway to keep the Disney's California Adventure exhibit and standing homage to Tron open.
Is Flynn's Arcade getting shut down? I can't find any direct evidence so far that it is, but a petition sponsored by the group "Flynn Lives" would like to make sure that it sticks around in its California location.
Their message:
We the undersigned would like the oppurtunity [sic] to have you hear our plea to keep Flynn's Arcade open. Flynn's is a place for families to come together and play the arcade games that everyone loves and also get a piece of Tron history. Tron has become a favorite in the hearts of young and old and should be a pemanant fixture inside California Adventure.
The site is home to a pretty sizable collection of classic arcade cabinets, including, of course, Tron, as well as a working cabinet for the faux-classic game...

"Danger 5" is my favorite new webseries. Set in an alternate universe WWII (a universe I much prefer), secret Ally operatives seek to foil devious Nazi plans, such as Hitler's birthday: complete with go-go dancer synpathizers.
I'll watch anything with Nazis. Thanks for the tip-off, QuietEarth!
Danger 5 is the finest group of special operatives the Allies have to offer; Jackson from the USA, Tucker from Australia, lisa from Russia, Claire from Britian and Pierre from Europe. In each episode Danger 5 unavels another of Hitler's diabolical schemes as they travel across a myriad of exotic locations.
Oh gosh, robots! Dinosaurs! The 60s in WWII! Does it get better than this? No. It does not. We can all thank David Russo and David Ashby ("Jackson"), the aussies who created this. Thank you. Thank you! The series premieres on YouTube (free!) on November 21st. Watch the trailer:...

Say it ain't so! Tonight was the final episode of Lopez Tonight, and George Lopez made sure to leave the network with some kind words. We're kidding. He actually cursed up a storm. There was a lot of "bleeping" in his opening monologue, but who cares? What's TBS going to do? Fire him? Ha. Of course the comedian couldn't end his show without some special guests, so we had a good amount of A-listers stop by the show. Starting with Creepy Little White Girl—she really is creepy—who reminded George that his show got canceled. Thanks for the tip, girl. Other than that little ray of sunshine, the audience was graced with the presence of...

We live in a really strange world now. We are at a point at which we — as adults — say things like “I hope Britney Spears will see my music video and Tweet at me.” Huh? We say that? We do. We say that. Well, this guy [in the video] does. A kid named Derek Busord made this video art mindf*ck thing called “Til The World Dens” — which feels like a cross between “When The World Ends” and the slowed-down version of pageant baby Eden Wood singing pedophilia anthem “Cutie Patootie” on The Talk — might be autistic, as the rest of his videos tend to also fall well ahead on the Nightmare Spectrum. But we’re no doctors. We just bring you the weirdo internet garbage to show your co-workers, and here’s hoping that only the best can come of it (“the best” being that Busord clocks, like, 100,000 views, and good for him). Thanks for the tip,...

I can barely keep up with my Twitter feed because, I dunno, I”m, like, 100 years old and I just don’t care? I realize that I’m a blogger and comedian and that I should be Definitely be way into #doingthis and meantweets retweets and all that jazz (see? I am 100!). But I can’t, y’all. It’s just not my thing (btw, follow Dan and Michelle). Nevertheless, there were two reasons that I stay on Twitter: and Kirstie Alley and Danny DeVito, whose ramblings and photos I want to see All The Time. Bless Kirstie’s maniacal, All Caps alerts about root beer floats and the photos of Danny DeVito’s “troll foot.” I can officially add one more element onto the pile of Reasons Why I Stay On Twitter: Chris Brown, y’all! He is a very good singer and dancer whose work I like very much,...

If you were looking to buy yourself a new Nintendo 3Ds, you have to find a store other than Amazon to do so. The world’s largest internet retail chain has stopped selling 3Ds due to a unspecified problem. Here is the exact quote:
“While this item is available from other marketplace sellers on this page, it is not currently offered by Amazon.com because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it’s described here. (Thanks for the tip!)
We’re working to fix the problem as quickly as possible.”
How much this will set back 3Ds sales is unknown – the system has not been as big a success as Nintendo has wanted and continually seems to have issues, and tellingly there were multiple games last week that were cancelled for the system,...

In 1981, Leonard Nimoy did an advertisement for an early iteration of the Laser Disc Player called the Magnavox DiscoVision (Lol, “DiscoVision”). To communicate just how technologically advanced this invention was, he was provided directions for the product by a space rock (?) that lit up, Out Of This World-style. And the perfect YouTube video was born. Nimoy he did everything but the Vulcan Salute to remind us just how naturally charismatic and Spock-ian he could be. Although. somewhere along the line, dude make a sharp turn toward the dirrrty, considering one look at that porn-stache and head-to-toe white outfit. Seriously, one look at that thing, and it’s like…iiiiiiiis this guy gonna take off his clothes and touch our no-no parts? Bless his heart, he was only dressed like everyone else in 1981, but didn’t everyone in 1981 look like they were ready to go after our no-no parts? Thanks for the tip,...

You guys know Jada Pinkett Smith, the actress and wife to Will Smith, one of the world’s most famous (and expensive) actors? If you’ve heard of them, you could probably imagine that between Jada, Will, their son Jaden and daughter Willow (already a celebrated actor and music act, respectively), the Smiths probably do okay financially. But Jada Pinkett Smith will have you know that even she can’t have everything: I had to make choices. Believe me, I would still be on the road with my band, Wicked Wisdom…if I didn’t have the responsibility of a family. Do you hear that? If it weren’t for her role as a mother and wife, Jada Pinkett Smith would be Killing It, Almost Famous‘ing her way around the country as the lead singer in her Metal Band, the same one that opened for Britney Spears before causing...

I don’t know what it is, but the first time someone went and slowed down a performance of Toddlers & Tiaras star Eden Wood performing a disturbing little number on The Talk called “Cutie Patootie” (Paging Child Services) (Does Child Services Patrol Toddlers & Tiaras Because They Should???), it was as if the stars aligned. Life just brightened a little for ol’ man…Me. And now — Now! — Eden Wood has been slowed down again, this time talking about hairspray! It’s like the South’s most gorgeous and tiny middle-aged beautician got Bombed on hard lemonade after a long day and just went off! Viral Video Of The Summer (#sadtitle): Thanks for the tip, Neil!

Rebecca Black‘s cameo in Katy Perry‘s laugh riot video, “Last Friday Night,” may have marked her fifteenth minute of fame, but she’s still a household name. However, our favorite kidbot packaged by the svengalis at child pop star assembly line Ark Music Factory is, in fact, C.J. Fam, or Cydney Jenelle. Fort Lauderdale’s own “ordinary pop star” is not only a very good singer, but she might be the most savvy child ever (at least since Leann Rimes had bangs). She actually told Dis Magazine, “To be an electrifying performer that is able to move an audience with my energy, passion and creativity while remaining an ordinary kid.” What? How does C.J. Fam know that? Good for her, but how does she know that? Meanwhile, is this video of her (from the interview) mildly creepy in a 90′s-Calvin-Klein-commercial way, or are we just reading into things?...

Do you watch RuPaul’s Drag Race? Because you should. You don’t have to be gay or a fan of drag (although it helps, duh), honestly. If you think subversive comedy that lampoons the idiocy or reality television and the arbitrariness of staged competitions while still being the type of show where you actually root for contestants, then you should watch Sinbad: It’s Just Family RuPaul’s Drag Race. I’m sure Fear Factor The Amazing Race is very good or whatever, but it is high time that Ru — hands down, one of the funniest, most clever people on television — deserves an Emmy, and now a Facebook campaign has been set up in the name of that very cause. Just pretend RuPaul is Betty White, and get to werk. Gay Video & Lesbian Movies – Logo: Fierce TV Thanks for the tip, Neil!

To be completely honest, my sixth grade math teacher used the word “ganas” (Spanish for “desire”) to inspire us to be the best students we could be (and he did a fine job, considering one of his supremely dorky students invited him onto “My Favorite Teacher Week” on Wheel Of Fortune). But as great as Mr. Howe was, he was no Jaime Escalante, a tiny, hyperactive Hispanic cherub who loved math so hard (and who also used the word “ganas” to inspire students) (hmm…coincidence???), he appeared in a PSA on the subject. And somehow, he tapped Bill Cosby, Teri Garr, Marla Gibbs, Joe Piscopo, Paula Poundstone, and Dizzy Gillespie to chime in on the subject in what is quite possibly the best P.S.A. ever. “You can’t get off on math.” — Marla Gibbs Thanks for the tip, Michael!
