This movie isn't that good. It sure isn't like Alfred Hitchcock's 1954's hit, Rear Window. It's not even in the same level as Michael Powell's 1960's movie, 'Peeping Tom' or Brian De Palma's 1984's Body Double. This film is scrapping the bottom of the barrel of creepy peep show movies. Still, it wasn't too bad, for the genre, it was in. It was better than other soft-core voyeurism pornos such as 2002's Watchful Eye. The film is about a young woman, Laura (Lori Dawn Messuri) whom moves into an artist building complex to house-sit for a wealthy artist. While, there, the painfully shy and repressed aspiring artist meets her free-spirited neighbor and model, Alisha (Jaqueline Lovell), who opens her creative side, by drawing her into the erotic dangers of Bohemian peep show with her neighbors. Odd to see a movie where the women were mostly the Peeping Toms. Unfortunately, the temptations of voyeurism become too dark for her, as Laura notice one of her neighbor being murdered. The movie tries really hard to write in a plot of murder and mystery; but it isn't that well delivered, when the movie pacing constant stop for a sex scene or random nudity. One minute, the main characters feels scare after seeing the murder, the next scene, they're laughing off with their friend, trying on, different types of dresses. Without spoiling who is the killer; the list of suspects are very thin, and the movie tries hard to be clever to hide, 'who da it'. Still, in a logical sense, it seem pretty predictable, who it is, as the others don't add up to the crime. No one who watches this film will give a care in the world about any of that, anyways. I think most people that will watch this film, is looking forward to all frontal nudity that these beautiful ladies give. I have to say, Lori Dawn Messuri is really attractive. She had an amazing body that goes with her good looks. Plus, I love her redheads, so much. I can't say, her talent for acting was great. It was alright for the most part. The same does with Jacqueline Lovell, whom can't act, worth a damn in this film. She's spent, most of her time on screen, taking off her clothes or having sex to distract the audience from her really bad acting. She seems to have a general disdain for all manner of clothing. I guess, even the actress got sick of it. She dump the Sarah St. James persona, a few years later, and stop appearing in many erotic soft core film. I guess, she didn't want to be in a movie where there's a sex scene every 15 minutes. Anyways, she just as attractive as Lori Dawn Messuri. The sex scene between them was really sexy. I like that, the lesbian or bi angle was honestly had some plotting build to it, rather than it's just randomly happening. The dialogue is far and in between the sex scenes. Some of it, doesn't even makes sense. 'He makes Howard Hughes seem like RuPaul' quotes Alisha in one scene. What? Does he like to dress in drag? You never see that. The dialogue is so amateur, that it's sound like a kid, wrote it. 'Be there, or be square', quotes Alisha. Wow- how childish lame. The movie dialogue is also very choppy; so choppy that it makes both Laura and Alisha seem bi-polar. I like how Laura get turns on, talking dirty on the phone with an unknown caller or get naked near the window, but gets really angry when she find out, that somebody was indeed, watching it. The same with Alisha, who really such an open nymph, who even admit to it, but later in the film, hates to call out on it. It's really bad accidentally conflicted. By far, the worst actress in this film had to be, Vanessa Blair as Erika. She lacks both attractiveness and the skill of acting. She looks like she's stuck in the 1980s, with a monstrous tease and fried hairstyle that should make her cringe with embarrassment. Trying not to be mean, but she looks like a female John Kerry with her huge jaw line. The men in the film such as Warren (Adoni Maropis) & Edward (Marc Robinson) were alright for the most part. It was nice to see, most of the men in the film, acting respectful, rather a horny & annoying jerks. The sex scenes weren't anything special. You got a few boy/girls scenes, solo masturbates scenes, a nude girl dancing with a gun scene, a mild S& M moment and one lesbian scene. None of them were really that graphic due to the great use of shadows and fading in & out. Still, it did get kinda frustrating, when the camera did that. The camera itself, look like it was falling asleep, with all the fades out. The music that goes with this film was alright in the most part. Some of it, sounds like really bad elevator or waiting room music. The suspense music was a bit better. Still, the song 'Somebody watching you' was a bit, too much. Another thing about the film is the lack of art. For an art film, it doesn't show many art, being created nor do they go into the details of how art works. For an erotic piece, it does kinda work. For a mystery-murder film, it just doesn't. Overall: If you need a movie to get your kicks off. It's alright, but if you're looking for story. Don't watch.
