When Papa Klump and Grandma are arguing at restaurant, the spaghetti in Grandma's hand changes between shots.

Professor Denise Gaines' Volkswagen backed up a couple of feet (by itself) outside the bridal shop from the time when she got inside it to when it started pulling away.

When Cletus Klump sits at the bar, the bartender hands him a red colored drink. The camera cuts away to the woman sitting next to Cletus and when it cuts back, the drink is now a clear color. The camera once again cuts to the woman, and when it cuts back to Cletus the drink has returned to being a red color.

Before Ernie asks for more wine at the family dinner, his plate is right in front of him. But as he turns to ask for the wine, the plate disappears and re-appears between shots.

When Cletus Clump farts while being administered the Heimlich Maneuver, the candle on the cake is seen to go out as it ignites the drapes. A couple of seconds later, the candle is lit once more, then it is out again a couple of seconds later.

While she's referred to as "Grandma Klump," which would be odd since it implies the same last name as her son-in-law, she gives her name as "Ida Mae Jensen."

Instances where two characters played by 'Eddie Murphy' get too close to one another, the characters will sometimes mesh together. One instance can be seen when Mama and Papa are hugging in kitchen. Another instance can be seen in the very beginning of the restaurant scene as Mama places a plate of food down beside Sherman, her right hand meshes with Sherman's left hand, which is rested on the table.

In the scene with the fireflies, for the full moon to be so close to the horizon, it would have to be close to sunrise or sunset, not late in the evening.

When Sherman looks at his reflection in a glass window on a door and Buddy Love's face appears then disappears, the reflection is obviously a CGI because you cannot see through it.

When Sherman and Denise are going to dinner at her parents' home, Denise indicates that her parents are rocket scientists. When Sherman begins explaining his scientific work at dinner, Denise's mother asks that he explains it in layperson's terms since they wouldn't be able to keep up with the explanation.
