When quarterback Lance Harbor is injured, his left shoulder pad switches repeatedly from inside to outside his jersey.

When Darcy Sears kisses Mox with her whipped-cream-bikini, some whipped cream gets on his shirt but is not present when he pulls away.

When Tweeter pulls up in front of Mox in the stolen police car, the naked girls are absent from the car as it drives down the street, but appear as soon as the car comes to a halt.

When Billy Bob is shooting old football trophies the first one he shoots doesn't match the one he had in his hand. The one in his hand is of a person and the one that is thrown on the ground and shot is of a football. Then a moment later the one that was just shot ends back up in Billy Bob's hand.

Soon after the Coyotes fall behind 17-7 midway through the fourth quarter, a background shot of the scoreboard shows the game still in the third quarter and the score still 14-7.

The last game in the movie was for the district championship. After the game, as Mox recalls events, says he never played football again. Since they won the district championship game, they would have played further in the state playoffs the following week.

Right before Lance is injured and before the ball is snapped, Billy Bob passes out and falls forward, which is a false start. The referee would have immediately thrown a flag and play would have been stopped and the Coyotes assessed with a five-yard penalty.

After Lance hurts his knee, right after the game everyone is at the hospital, the doctor comes out and says Lance just got out of surgery, he tore every ligament in his knee. You wouldn't have surgery immediately after the game , it is usually the next day or 2 days later.

When Billy Bob wants to go on the field to block the punt, coach asks him "Do you want to play defense now"? Punting is special teams, not defense, any football coach knows this.

When Billy Bob and Tweeter rush the punter and Tweeter blocks the punt, the whistle can be heard blowing immediately after the blocked punt. By Federation rules, this would be an inadvertent whistle. The ball remains live after a blocked punt.

In some of the game scenes Billy Bob is the Coyotes' right tackle, in others he is on the left side of the offensive line. This is possible if the team used an offensive scheme which 'flopped' the 'weak' and 'strong' sides of the line.

Moxon tells Miss Davis that he and the guys wouldn't tell anyone that she was a stripper, but in the previous game Tweeder told Mox in the huddle that he couldn't get Miss Davis' fat ass out of his head. While other people in the huddle hadn't been to the club, the comment was ambiguous enough not to tip them off.

As a member of the Ivy League Brown University does not offer athletic scholarships. Mox's scholarship was academic.

When the Coyotes are playing Wanesboro Broncos, visible in the background is a sign in the fence stating "Go Wildcats" which is the mascot of Elgin, Texas, where most of the movie was filmed.

When Bud Kilmer is packing up his office, both computer and monitor are missing power cables revealing them to be set dressing.

After Mox is told to take a knee by Coach Kilmer, the entire crowd begins to boo Mox and the announcers say it's "gutless" by Mox as if this was his decision to kneel. If this town was truly full of football fanatics as implied, they would know including the announcers that its the Head Coach's decision to take the knee and not the QB.

When Lance gets hurt, he starts screaming and crying. His mouth doesn't move when he screams and he only grimaces most of the time.

In the daytime helicopter shot, all of the film and light trucks are visible. They are parked all around the stadium and are very obvious.

When Darcy first appears in the whipped cream bikini, she approaches Mox and just as she reaches him, you can see a large piece of tape covering her buttocks.

After halftime of the championship game, when the team returns to the field without Kilmer (or any assistant coaches), Lance Harbor is coaching the team. In reality, this would have resulted in a forfeiture since Lance was also a student, and did not have the necessary credentials to coach.

When Lance is hurt, medics simply lift his body to the stretcher which is downright dangerous and against everything they teach EMTs and Paramedics. First, the medics would have immobilized the hurt knee with a splint to prevent any further injury. Second, they would have rolled him on a backboard and secured him to it, then lift the backboard to the stretcher, also to avoid any further injury to the limb.
