Practically unwatchable in its present form...

This silent film is about an evil gang made up of baddies and Indians. One of the gang is posing as an Indian agent and trying to fool a young lady into believing he's her uncle. Can the good guys and their friendly Shoshone Indian friends save the day?

This is a film from Televista and I have found that this ALWAYS means that it's an obscure film you can't find anywhere else AND the quality of the picture will be just awful--and it will be in need of a HUGE restoration. If I had bought the film instead of renting it from Netflix, I would have demanded my money back--this particular film was that bad! And, to make it worse, this film is a pared down version of the 1927 film by the same name--so you are getting only about half of the original film. Because of this, I really can't recommend you watch it--there simply are thousands of better quality and more interesting films out there.

If the film had been better quality, I would have probably given it a 4--it's an average to slightly below average B-western. But, in it's present state a 2 seems reasonable.

GREAT OLD SERIAL MADE INTO MOVIE

Very sad the full serial isnt avail.but im glad as much as possible was recovered and made into a movie.better than throwing away what was able to be recycled. yes many old silents are in very bad shape. due to the way they were stored over the decades but now they can be fixed and not all lost.many treasures are now only clips. i luv the silents. it may be classed as a b movie now. but i rather watch this long lost forgotten movie treasure rather than the mostly porn level of garbage put out nowadays by shameful hollywood.
